Tommy, -0.5/1 is whats called an Asian handicap.

Outside of the U.S., bookies use this to set a line they feel should be in between the goals stated.

For example, in this Croatia game, a line of -1/2 goal isn't large enough while a line of 1 goal is too large.

In this situation, they will set a line of -0.5/1.0 which means whatever amount you wager is split evenly between the 2 lines.

Say you want to bet $100, you would have $50 laying 1/2 goal and $50 laying a full goal.

as far as today is concerned the 2 tips that he gave me were croatio to win by 1 and sweden-hungary to bet sweden -1,5. it was almost 4 times my money. and he said 100%

I think probabilities of certain scores occuring are often good bets. I liked that the tout wanted to give him an exact score.
