Default WSEX Payout Issues?

Are these true? Are they slowpaying? I find it hard to believe, but that seems to be the gossip around forumville.

Anyways, what books do they do book to book transfers with? And what is the limit, the rollover, and the fees if anybody has the info available.

Assuming only payout methods are regular check and fed ex check for Americans? Doesn't look like they pay out via moneygram or WU.

From what I've read Owned, heres what I know.

The regular mail issued checks (1 free a month/$15 their after) is where the slow pays are steaming from, because they seem to be taking up to as much as 25-30 days before receiving it. While the overnight Fedex ($50 fee) checks take roughly 5 business days, and in one particular case 8 days.

The problems I've been seeing isn't a slow payments at all really. Instead it's the 3 party international checks because the are taking to as long as 4 weeks to cash, and that steams from having your bank sending it through international collections.

As far as the book-to-book transfers go. WSEX does transfers with 5Dimes, Bookmaker, TheGreek, Pinnacle, and Matchbook of course.

Dan, how exactly does an overnight Fedex with a $50 fee take FIVE business days to arrive? That's absolutely ridiculous and the express fee should at the very least be cut in half to then justify a timely payout fee for one weeks wait.

I would guess that it's overnight from the processor, so the 4 days or so is the backlog at the processors end.

All of these are free transfers? I already have funds in two of those books. I know transferring to MB is free or it should be at least.

Thanks for the info on the payouts. A $50 fee is no big issue, so I will gladly do that option instead of the regular check option when that time comes (some time this week).

Let me expand on Santo's processor comments Crazyl.

Wsex fees were only $30 for the overnight service not to long ago. However, I'm sure you noticed all the troubles that a lot of books have had or are having with bounced checks and other related issues of that nature. I think people tend to forget that it's not easy for any books that still accepts U.S. players these days. Let me assure you it's not the boy scouts that are processing checks and what not. So naturally the rates/fees have to be passed along to the players. I chalk it up as a cost of doing business expense.

Last time I checked the book-to-book transfers at both matchbook and wsex are free. However I do know if you do a transfer into bookmaker they will charge you an incoming % fee based on the amount you transfer.

Also, I did forget to post this above earlier. Wsex and Matchbook both do book-to-book transfer with Legendz.

I don´t know about checks and other methods, but they are very fast with book-to-book transfers..that´s all that matters to me, as they offer them with enough quality books.

I didn't realize they do transfers with Legendz. Would that apply to the Pig too Dan? I've been wanting to sign up with the Pig anyways. Funny they don't list them as an option though.

Don't say that too loud or they'll come back for ya. bookmaker charges fees if you sneeze while talking to them on the phone.

Kieth, I would assume they would work with you since their apparent company is Legendz.

I couldn't help but to read your comments about the incoming transfer fees in post #11. I read a few posts before where others have been charged in the past for this type of thing, so I'm rather surprised to hear you weren't charged anything. I'll make sure to make a note about your experience for future purposes.

I tried transferring from WSEX to 5Dimes 2-3 days ago and they said they only transferred to Matchbook, Cris, and "Olympics" (either Greek or Greek + BetJam, dunno). Either something has changed or I got a moron in CS.

Dan, I know they charge if you do book transfers out of there but didn't realize they charge some for deposits too.Regarding transfers from Matchbook to Legendz they told me on livechat they only do them with Olympic and Betjamaica.Another thing I dislike with the Pig they say you can only use Internet Explorer with it.

Tom & Keith,

By any chance did they mention when they stopped doing transfers with the books?

I didn't realized it either until after looking in to the matter a little more in depth. Unless of course it might have changed in the past few months.

I asked if they do transfers to MB and she said yes we do to Betjamaica and Olympic. When I asked again about MB she didn't seem to even know anything about MB.Nothing about having stopped doing transfers.Have you actually done them between MB and Legendz? They have never been listed as an option on MB's site that I know of.

I never have done one with Legendz personally Keith. I just read a poster claimed to have though, so naturally I passed it along in this thread.

I just had a live chat session with alivia from WSEX, and here is their official response to our book-to-book questions.

Quote:
Hank Webber: Who do you do book-to-book transfers with and what are the fees?

You are now speaking with alivia of Accounts.

alivia: Hello Hank

alivia: We accept sportsbook transfers to and from the following books: Matchbook, Olympic Sports, Betcris and Pinnacle. All incoming transfers are free. Matchbook withdrawals are free. There is one free withdrawal every 30 days for Olympic transfers. Any withdrawals requested before the 30 day period incur a $40 charge. Both Betcris and Pinnacle is a standard $50 charge for every withdrawal.

Hank Webber: What about 5Dimes and Legendz sports?

Your party has left this session.
As you can see Alivia left the chat rather abruptly.

Default WSEX Payout Issues

Guys-
I believe the payout problems at WSEX are getting worse. I requested a $1000 check from my account on Jan 17 and that amount was deducted from my account the same day. I have sent them 2 e-mails and called them today. They informed me that they are having payment processor problems and that they should be able to pay me about March 14. That would be 57 days from the date I requested the payout. Now I am hearing that the Canadian banks they use might result in my bank holding the check for a few weeks until it clears. It is conceivable that I could be waiting 2-3 months before I have cleared funds in my hands.
I have used WSEX for a long time but I now have to wonder why they have become a slow pay book. Top tier outfits such as Greek/BetJamaica and 5 Dimes pay on a timely basis - WSEX does not.

If you deal with WSEX there is the very real possibility that you will be slow payed. They can explain things any way they want but the bottom line is that they do have payout problems. The $1000 check I requested on Jan 17 and that was deducted from my account the same day has never been received. While I realize that 48 days and counting is no big deal to them, it does irritate me. I sent an e-mail and got no reply. Then I called and the accounting person said I should have my check by March 14. Then I called again as requested by someone from WSEX who replied to my thread on another site and the rep told me to call again on Friday if I did not receive my check and they would stop payment and issue another one. I am somewhat less than ecstatic with the treatment I have received and deeply resent their implication that they have NEVER SLOW PAYED and that my situation is an isolated case.

I'm experiencing virtually the same problem as you.

I requested a payout for $500 on Feb 7th 2008.

Its April 6th and I still haven't received my check.

I called 3 or 4 times and I was advised there was a "payment issue" and that they would re-issue my check via Fed Ex. That was 10 days ago.

Very disappointed.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir

That happens a lot I've noticed with regular mailed checks actually. I mean it just goes to show you that sometimes opting for the cheapest withdraw method isn't exactly the best route to go these days, because of the processing problems most books are having these days. Anyways, 2 months is just crazy even for using that payment solution request. Please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire on your behalf.
