Annoying Youwager phone call....
Not sure how it's done but they called me from my area code. I still didn't answer the phone but they left a message. "It's very urgent that you call me right back" I did call them back and asked what was so urgent... I told them because of this I wouldn't deposit in their book, ever. Don't leave me voice mails saying it's very urgent that I call back. Unreal.

I can live with the cold calling and the snail mail, but that was dirty pool Illini........ if they ever did that to me, I am divorced from them. Besides, you play at the greatest book in the world...... you don't need them.

Yep, they call me from my area code also, but they are no worse than the others when it comes to sending stuff to my front door. Oddsmakers, Bookmakers, and YouWager have all sent b.s. promotions within last 2 weeks. That means I will be canceling accounts with all 3. Never even new I had one with oddsmakers |

yep sorta same thing.... when i signed up for the free $12 i put my cell up, withen 20 mins my phone lit up....eventually got them to change my number to a fake one..... eventually they clued in and sent me emails saying that i must of gave them the wrong number blah blah blah

It really caught me off guard when I checked the voice mail because it came across as a Santa Barbara 805 area code. It really pissed me off when I heard the message. He sounded like he wasn't ok though, sounded like he had some sort of disability or a lisp.

Trust me, I never had any intention on ever making a deposit with them. I did send some money in to a book to become SBR Pro and I am very glad I didn't use them. I do play at the best book in the world, Heritage. But when they call and leave me a message like this I will make it a point to never give that book a dime and let people know about the kind of message they left. How did they call from my area code though?

Got to be some way for it to happen, fly. I know I've gotten called from the BetPhoenix/BetMania/WagerChief crew in the same way. And tout calls have been like that sometimes also - disguised as a local area code but uhhhhhh guess what - it's Wayne Root's clan calling from Vegas!

I get phone calls from all the books you mentioned and a lot more. None leave messages like that though. I had to listen to it again because I was driving when I checked it and heard that it's urgent that I call back. So when I replayed it I was furious. For a second I thought something was going on, I work with people that often have emergencies and I get calls like that often, but it really is urgent, unlike this call.

They have an auto-dialer redirect located in the States, and it just happened to pull up a Santa Barbara area code by coincidence; it just as easily could have been Boston or Dallas. They called me from a New Jersey area code. I happen to like YouWager, and I have them as an out, but I could easily replace them if they pulled a 'sky is falling' message like that to me.
This football season, I have already funded:
Heritage
DSI
YouWager
BetOnline
WagerChief
I usually go with 4 books for the season, and I replaced Bookmaker with DSI for the Prick contest, and I replaced BetPhoenix with WagerChief for the half point. I have -105 at BetOnline, and -107 at Heritage, and I like YouWager for parlays and teasers, plus they have the best mobile app going....

I have had people call me from my area code as well, many of these desperate books are trying to steal you from someone else, pick one or two books and stay with it, use reliable ones like bodog, fivedimes or the greek. GL

I told them not to call me again on live chat only to have some Vietnamese CS lady call me. I went on live chat a 2nd time and told them not to call me again bu then the same lady called me AGAIN! I just picked up the phone, listen to the lady then just hung up. She called me back and bitched at me for hanging up on her... I then went on live chat for a 3rd time and told them if you called me again i'll report you to SBR and have a huge thread about your annoying calls and the CS that bitched at me. Never heard from them since.

Most books have a crappy thing or two about them. With Youwager, it's the phone nonsense. No big deal. They offer some good stuff so I just accept it.

yeah that is one of the things i don't like about them either and thats whats nice about a book like HERITAGE as if they did that to you they would put a $500 FP into your account for the hassle.
youwager does pay but the calls are annoying.

I made an account with youwager, the sales guy was "lefty", I laughed and decided no buisness for you! anyways they called me 10min after. I told them you call me again I won't deposit. Left nut said he would put me on the do not call list, problem solved.

WagerChief called me 9 times in 3 days. morning afternoon and night after I signed up for an account just so I could do the SBR contests. They left 1 message the first time they called... and then called 8 more times and I never answered cuz I was busy the first few times, and if I answered after that, I would've yelled at someone, so I didn't answer... I will NEVER EVER deposit there because of this. I've never had a book call me NINE times...
