Default BetAtlas: Fraudulent Book

BetAtlas is using bait-and-switch tactics on their withdrawal fees and not adhering to their own T&Cs. The BetAtlas web site clearly states, "All customers are entitled to one free withdrawal per calendar month via Federal Express or Bank Wire." (http://www.betatlas.com/banking_center/withdrawals.asp)

I recently attempted to make a withdrawal for February. I was told that I had already made a withdrawal in the past 30 days. I replied that the rules state 'per calendar month', not per 30 days. Then they told me that my account did not qualify for free withdrawals. The rules say 'all accounts', not qualified accounts only. Furthermore, even though a nickel is too much, the fee they quoted was $55, not $40 as listed.

This book is willing to steal from its customers. Players beware.

It's a matter of integrity. Player and book alike need to adhere to the policies stated. BetAtlas has shown they're willing to break their rules in order to shake down winners. What else are they willing to do to cheat?

If it's as clear as RS reports, they owe him money.

Ricky,

Your money should be back in your account now.

Atlas says they will change their page to 30 days so it jives with the policy the staff has.

I won't go that far Aces. I mean after all they still are part of the Horizon family of books which is pretty solid overall IMO.

I'm having this problem, except that I haven't made any withdrawals at all.

When I call, they keep quoting the last line on the withdrawals page, which states "Free payouts at management discretion."

To whom can I send my BetAtlas account number to get this resolved?

If I remember correctly they had a rule like that in place where they deemed "restrictions apply" or something to that effect. I believe it has something to do with profiled players, but don't quote me on that. Anyways, if you feel that you need some assistance with your issues. I guess you can fill out a complaint form and we will inquire to them on your behalf.

It's either one or the other. This language would be illegal for a legitimate business.

Are you still playing there or have they booted you?

I'm looking for some additional outs for later this year.

Mr.Ricky,

Have you received a recent payout from them, If so how long is it taking these days? Because the reason I ask is that I did read roughly a month ago that it was taking up to 3 weeks via Fedex checks and I'm just wonder if they have their processing more streamlined these days.

I've made three withdrawals this year, and each one took at least three weeks to receive.
