I recently opened an account on both of them, and would like to make some comparision :

Odds : different, but none is always better than the other, and can quickly change

1st deposit bonus : none on SBOBET, 20% up to 180€ on 12bets (bonus=1.67% of required rollover)

max bets : higher on SBOBET (often about 435€, sometimes more or less) than 12bets (often 50€, sometimes 247€)

cashout : fast on SBOBET (a few hours), untried on 12bets (bonus not cleared)

I think 12bet is still better - in odds mainly, cash out is also very fast (from minutes to few hours)

only 435euro on soccer at SBOBET? you should ask for more and you will get it if you need it. those limits are probably for tennis. 12bet became a recreational bookie not so long time ago and they started limiting people to 50 euro bets. 12bet pays a bit faster for bigger amounts but they both usually pay within hours. keep them both and add 188bet and pinnacle for most of the value for asian handicaps

In the final analysis no contest

12Bet was okay for a short time but then steadily cut my limits until it became a waste of my time bothering with them. From start to finishing with them 6 months. Get what you can out of them but it won't last.

I don't understand the low limits you mentioned at SBO. Right from the start they had much larger limits than that and mine haven't been reduced at all.

188Bet is the next best. Much better limits than 12Bet.

yes there is always risk to go through an agent but you are risking too if you are sending money to bookmaker.. Bookies want longterm business but also agent know that if they will have more people he will earn more like when he will run with few eur from his first customers..

Sbobet, 188bet and Ibcbet is leading companies in asia.. Every from these 3 bookies have something who other dont have.. for example 188bet have good promotions, sbobet dont and ibcbet id depends on agent if he give you bonus or nor. If you combinate this 3 bookies you will still get the best on the odd world.

Ibcbet offers you more events to bet on also they have more special bets on games like HT/FT etc. They are also good in early market. Also almost on every game you have 2 lines for asian handicap and over/under for FT market and HT market.

The limits are almost same, so you cant have any problem to bet what you want.. One good think of IBCbet is paradise for arbitrage players.. I dont know why but in many times happen that they have better odd than other asian bookies.. many arbitrage players and bonus scalpers will confirm you that they like 12bet (europe ibcbet) but dont like limits..

So If you are serious punter you can use Sbobet or 188bet.. but if you are serious punter and also like arbitrages or you are bonus scalper, ibcbet is excellent for you

thanks, but I'm not an arb player, rarely play HT/FT, can get more than one line on most top games at SBO too, can play at Betfair and Pinnacle so IBC is hardly a necessity for me.

I believe Mansion88 has the exact same lines as 12bet. My limit at M88 is £250 per bet and/or event, and £50 at 12bet. The 12bet limit isn't because I'm sharp, but it's the same for everyone since they became a rec book. As the odds are the same, I'd recommend you use M88 instead to get access to the higher limits.

I think IBCBet provides odds for M88 and 12bet, so if you can't get into IBCBet - I can't - you can get access to the same lines, but lower limits, by using M88 or 12bet.

@ Senor112: How did you get accepted at IBCBet? I'm guessing it's for pros only, but there are times when their higher limits would be useful to me.

based on my experience M88 too will limit you to betting peanuts in time
In fact I ended up giving up on them before 12bet for that reason

Hareeba, maybe check your account with them again? I was limited (to £100 I think), then they increased it to £250 without asking... just suddenly appeared on the betslip. I assumed it was a universal raise. Either that or I was flagged a loser

when I withdrew my balance in disgust at the new lower limit they put me down to about 7 weeks back I told them that if they ever decided to again act like a decent bookmaker to let me know and I'd consider coming back ... I haven't heard so presume I'm still down at the peanut level ... not going to waste any more time ..stuff 'em

I have a limit of 250€ in 12bet,mansion and 188 guess i am not a big winner.
besides the limits i prefer mansion/12bet odds .
In my opinion asian bookies are starring to by pussies about their odds, even taking off games during the night and only putting games on a few hours before the game start

with 12bet you can re-bet 250 limits a few times and this does not always move the line, so this can help

you can do that at M88 too
when I was last betting at 12bet I could stake $50 twice and at M88 I could stake $70+$70+$70+$20=$230 (pain in the arse) for quite a while but then when my basic stake was cut to $25 I gave up on them both

i guess it is different for everyone. my m88 limit has always been 100 eur per match, from the beginning.
perhaps it depands on day of the week you sign up... or location, currency... funny.

as far as i can see nobody commented that 12bet moves lines slower ( at least for games i bet) then sbobet, so you can profit more from that, becose sbobet linemakers are better.

SBOBET and 12bet(Fun88,Mansion88) is that SBO is licensed and regulated in Isle of Man,UK and others dont have Euro license-they operate from Philippines and China(many agents on Fun88 was arrested in China before month) so SBO lead 1:0 for security reasons.
12Bet group may gone forever if they are with bad financial results.

12bet have better lines on some matches but SBO on others ... no clear winner on that score imho

Before 1 year around limits on 12bet were very nice , just like 188bet, easily could wager over 1.000euro , after that period many many limited to 250e , lately for myself got limited to 100e. Some people said that they are IBC- related bookie for europeans , as for recreational purposes. They pay fast, so far no problems. There are sometimes few different offers than on 188bet and SBO. Some people say they are a same origin as IBC, dont know sure , but people telling that. So if thats true , than security , concerning money there isnt problem.

Very nice limits, a "must to have" for serious punters. Nice limits. Slightly slower payments than other asians.
Not so good for LIVE betting becouse , they have quit a long delay when the bet is transfered from "waiting" status to "accepted"status.

SBOBET

There is mentioned here the limit of 435e on some events. Yes , but that is for some leagues in soccer and thats for very early openings. As you wait the day of the game, limits are better. As soon as we aproach the kick off time limits are more better. And finaly , best limits are in LIVE betting at SBO. Also a "must have bookie". Good for LIVE, good for PRE GAME. Fast payouts. Good odds. Mostly using them.

... also asian bookies are mostly soccer related , if you are wagering on OTHER events, OTHER sports, limits are not that good as for soccer.
