Default Is BetUS safe to deposit with

Has anybody recently deposited with BetUS or more importanly, withrawn funds.

I just made a first deposit there, - i didnt realise the owner was almost murdered, anyway, they ranked well in Google so i bought into that.

I'm quite worried about the security of their credit card deposit process, im based in Europe at the moment so i can usee cc's.

Are BetUS trusthworthy?

Haven't heard much about them since football began. Last year they had payment problems with 2 month delays. They seemed to fix it just prior to football and were rewarded with a rating increase to D+ (from D).

The big question is why to get onboard with a D+ Book, especially now that the season is ending. Look for many D range Books to default in the upcoming months IMO.

Even after that attempt on Mr.Rizzo's life, It's business as usual at BetUS as far as I know these days.

No.. BetUS is one of the worst books to play at.. My advice to you is to meet your bonus rollovers and cash out ASAP.. It takes months and many many phone calls to finally get your money.. Always play at books that have at least an A rating.. Last time I checked, BetUS was D- or D+.. Go to a good book like thegreek or 5dimes.. Avoid BetUS at all costs..
Best of luck to you...

BetUs has good marketing which they heavily invest in. They are similar to their cousin BetOnSports. If you look at how they made that money over the years and how they got where they are today, there will always be a fear of what they will do when it would be profitable to take the money and run. They have been quiet since moving to Panama last year.

Default BetUS Update

Cheers for the response guys.

To update you:
My main concern was that they used the US Social Security Number to verify credit card deposits. Obviously, as i am an Irish citizen, this was alarming to see. However, its been 7 days and the deposit has not gone through so i guess if you cant verify the ccard, the money does not go through no matter what.

You guys have got to be kidding me. BetUS is a scam book, not even close to safe. Stick with Greek, BJ, Wsex and you'll be fine.

Default betus experience

I deposited 110 with moneygram (9.95 fee) on 1/31 to Betus before I read about the D rating here.

I did not ask for bonuses at the time of depositing knowing I would not meet the 6x rollover rules.

Then I read about the D rating and feared for my life worrying about getting the 228 back or not that I won on the Giants +110
They credited the 9.95 fee so my balance going in was 119.95

I feared I would never get any of the 228 back and it was worth any fees I had to pay to get most of my money back (178) and not stay on with them.

I waited until Tues Feb 5 after superbowl to call to request a payout to find out they will not pay back via moneygram except the matching amount of the deposit. So two choices were courier check or bank wire. I chose bank wire of 178, at $50 fee they did not tell me my bank would charge me a fee also. Just to bug them some more I called Feb 8 and they said it was denied because of credit card paperwork. They admitted that was a mistake being a bank wire, so they said they would rectifiy it and I would see it in 7-10 days.

Well low and behold today I checked the bank online and it arrived Feb 12 to bank as 141 and a 15.00 fee from my own bank.

My math says that adds to 156, so where in the hell is the other 22 dollars, mybank took out 15 only.
I called 2/20 and the said they would credit the 15 + the mystery theft of 22, for 37 total back into my account.

If I had requested a courier check I would not of gotten hit for the extra 37 in fees and would of been able to cash a 178 check myself, but they never warned me of "theft" fees, or my own banks fees.

That 37 they will credit to my account is dead money to me because I will probably never bet it except maybe on poker, or maybe somehow I can work it up to a few hundred dollars.

I wonder how anyone feels about their Betuspoker.com site.

To sum up I deposited 119+change won about 228, got a bank wire for 141. So I made out $22 on the deal.

I will stay with my next book for the long haul and not ask for an early withdraw and wait until the balance is up to 1k before I take a wdraw. I was just scared of never seeing any money at all.

Any comments on 5 dimes vs Bookmaker as my next choice would be appreciated. I am out to bet on NCAA bball in March but I prefer football

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum sir

I can't say I'd be surprised by anything BetUS would do these days. I really can't comment on their poker room at all, because I never played their. Maybe another poster can better answer that question for you though.

As far as 5Dimes vs Bookmaker goes.

Considering your a small recreational type player and all. I would recommend 5Dimes to you. They just offer more wagering options as well as good payment solutions on deposits and withdraws. Not to mention the fact that the withdraws are much cheaper if you need utilize more than the one free payout request per month they offer.
