Default The Greek denies Bonus for re-deposit...

Just redosited into my account and they say they won't apply 'bonus' since deposit was from credit card. Horrible customer service when we communicated over the phone. Sent email with no response as of yet. Totally bogus since it's not listed on their site.

Benny bonuses can be tricky and not all clerks know the rules, be patient Son.

I will be working there in about 8 days or so

Anytime you're going to collect a bonus (especially for reloads), you should verify by EMAIL that you'll get the bonus. So many problems would be avoided with this.

That is correct sir, and here is the rule on this subject.

Re-load bonuses are not valid on credit card or express money deposits, unless otherwise specified.
A lot of books have bonus restrictions on credit card deposits, so it's not like they are signaling you out.

Agree about the poor customer service. I always get the same Jamaican bitch on her period. "Ya man, hold while I change my pad".

Only Cris/Book has worse CS among A Books (and 5-D if you get Tony).

So recently, we've had complaint threads started about Pinnacle, Olympic & Matchbook.

Seriously, these complainers need to get a clue.

Customer Service does suck at some of these top books, and they have every right to complain.

PS You seem to be overly impressed about A rating in Books--there is no room for improvement apparently. Then again you think NE is the best team ever because of the 0 in the loss column. Perfect record, so no room for improvement. Everything is black and white. A rating for a Book, how could they be in the wrong?

A rating? Whose rating and who gives a flying **** about it? Plain & simple, do you worry about your money at Olympic, Pinny or Matchbook? Do they not offer the opportunity to bet on pretty much any event you can think of? Do you have a hard time depositing or collecting? I didn't think so.

We're (unfortunately) in the post-UIGEA era and for people to bitch about these places because of unfriendly bonus policies or software glitches is just plain silly. They can try to take their business elsewhere....and I wish them the best of luck in their new home.

Never said they couldn't improve on the defensive side of the ball. You put the '85 Bears D together with their O and you get a team that wins each game by 50 (although the '85 Bears D would be run over & around by today's bigger, stronger athletes, but that's beside the point.)

The fact remains that if a team BOTH goes undefeated and has the largest average point differential in history then arguing that they're not "the most dominant team ever" is spitting in the wind. I wish the Bears hadn't lost to the Dolphins that night, but they did....and eliminated themselves from competition.

DL:

I think this complaint was about CS and a bonus, not about collecting.

Yeah, the guy complained about not getting a bonus on a credit card re-load deposit when (as BBD pointed out), Olympic's website explicitly says:

"Re-load bonuses are not valid on credit card or express money deposits, unless otherwise specified."

Yeah, he's got quite a right to complain. What was I thinking!

I did a Greek reload deposit via Western Union a few week back- so, was I eligible for bonus? Is there some stupid rule that you have to notify them within 24 hours or bonus is forfeited? What if you transfer from 5 dimes?

Obviously, the poster needed to confirm he was entitled to a bonus prior to depositing and he didn't, so end of story as you say. What I take issue with is your statement that there are a lot of complaints about top rated Books, so the complainers need to get a clue. Many of the top rated Books have poor CS despite their A+ rating. I've had snooty reps from both Greek and 5-Dimes. Also, try getting a problem corrected at Bookmaker--being passed on to someone who can actually help you, is a nightmare. The Books need to get a clue as far as CS goes IMO. That's all I'm saying. Other than that, we agree on this particular matter

Agreed, Bookmaker CS is the worst (well, next to Sportsbook.com, that is). I guess I just expected all the aggravation once UIGEA passed and Neteller went away. I save my ire for places that don't pay, not for petty issues - no matter how frustrating those petty issues might be, it's just the cost of doing business these days.
