Default Sportsbook.com What a sad and horrible book

This is my first post at this site so consider me a newbie! Im rather new into the sportsbetting world and opend two accounts in the last year. One at sportsbook.com and one at matchbook.com

Used sportsbook.com for the last few months and did ok. Requested cashouts one sent on the 4th of January and one on the 8th of January. Today is the 9th business day for the first one. They provide me a tracking number that to noone's surprise leads to nowhere. Says shipment acknowledged on the DHL site. Yeh Whatever....

So I will keep you updated on those two payouts by courier If and when I ever get them. Feel ripped off.

On the other hand I cashed out a fed ex check from Matchbook.com on Tues the 15th AM and I got the fed ex package yesterday at my door. Thats one day. WOW.

Sportsbook has paid me many times over the years, I have a check pending also. Some books are better than others at speed of payouts. I'll let you know when I get paid. I requested a payout on Jan. 8th.

I assure you that you don't even know 1% of the pain that some other Sportsbook.com accountholders have faced, but hey, if you want to bitch about them anyway I sure ain't gonna defend them....I'll leave that to Shamsy, I'm sure he'll drop by shortly.

Sportsbook.com (SBR rated D-) has had a rather shaky 2007 with all the slow pay, and confiscations type disputes. So needless to say I can't say I'm surprised to hear your troubles, however they do state on their website that it takes up to 15 days for check type withdraw requests. Keep us posted on how your payout turns out.

As far as Matchbook (SBR rated A-) goes. I wouldn't expect anything different from them at all. They are a great book/exchange with great service.

I’m in the same boat. I switched to BetUSA as the only book I currently have funded from this family—since supposedly that’s one of the “good” ones—but I’m waiting on a payout as well.

Payout requested on January 2. DHL tracking number provided on January 8. Still shows up as “acknowledged” on the DHL site, which a phone call to them reveals means they’ve been told to expect a shipment with that number some time in the future, but that they have not been notified to pick it up yet.

Calls to BetUSA are useless because they just go to the generic call center where they read the policies to you but have no information on specific payouts. When I press them on it they just lie and say the checks are sent immediately by DHL but that DHL tends to be slow and can take 5-10 business days once they have a package. When I point out they have never given the package to DHL, they just repeat that yes it’s a shame DHL can be so slow….

Same that happens to me when I call about the status on the DHL website. Tracking numbers mean nothing to these guys. Mine was sent on the 4th so I will keep you posted....
