From the BetJamaica banking page:

"Accounts funding via a regular CC must wait 14 business days for the deposit to clear before a withdrawal can be made."

CC deposit takes 14 days to clear? C'mon! pure BS!

I understand the logic behind this policy, to prevent you from cashing out should you get ahead early into the 14 day waiting period. I don't like it, it's another reason I use Canbet as my main book (Matchbook as main exchange).

Canbet, Bet365, Mansion, Betfair, Tradesports Matchbook etc. (once your identity has been confirmed, etc.) don't have any restrictions on withdrawals after depositing with a CC.

Betplom give me a break. Cheques clear next day pretty much yet banks think nothing of putting a 5 or 7 day hold on a large cheque. This (IMO) is nothing worse than them making sure they have the money in hand before paying out. These days I wouldn't be funding any book with a CC if I could avoid it, it's the worst way to do it. I have rarely done it and I know being canadian I get the worst of it for exchanges plus TD calculates it as a cash advance normally so interest piles on the minute you use it.

I've grown tired of the currency exchange game as well, now almost all of my sportsbook accounts are in Canadian Dollars, my only $US Dollar accounts are at WSEX & Matchbook because they don't offer $CAD accounts. I rarely even use WSEX anymore, if they'd let me have a Canadian dollar account that would change.

Using a Canadian CC to fund a US Dollar sports account adds 2.5% more to the transaction - charged by ****.

Back to my original point, ALL of the books I use except BetJam have no waiting period for making a withdrawal if deposit was made using a CC, why does BetJam need 14 days when the others don't?
