    Unhappy Unibet horror

    Hi,
I don't understand what I do wrong with these bookies
3 Days ago I make an account at Unibet.com, everything ok.

Yesterday I make my first deposit 500 euros with **** Electron DC.
2 Hours later my account is blocked

Your account has been blocked. Please contact Customer Support (+356 234 31 610) for further information.

I haven't place 1 bet and my account is blocked !
I haven't applied for any sign-up bonus I really can't understand why my account is blocked.

I sent them 3 mails already = no answer, on their telephone is all the time busy

What can I do? Should I make a chargeback before is too late?
Is there any hope to see my money back?

Please help me with some advise

Its because kids can get an electron card , they will want ID scans so you can prove your over 18.

well in the UK its issued as a DC for childrens accounts, not sure about other parts of Europe. If you are going to use that payment method you will always face these issues.

I would imagine as soon as they verify your ID your account will be unlocked.

With all the dubious activity by other books lately, the term "horror" might be a wee bit strong here.

    Good to hear it sir.

Most Euro books seem to be that way when it comes security issues these days. So needless to say I wasn't really all that surprise after reading your initial post.

unibet is a top book IMO. Never had the slightest problem with them.
An advice for monpoe, if you plan on betting online with few bookies I suggest you open a moneybookers or neteller account and get those funded...

Yep, I'm glad Unibet have shown strict ID rules here, it may be inconvenient, but at least they are showing they are responsible in vetting who they allow to bet.

Hi monpoe, how did you manage to get through to customer services and what required documents did you have to send?

I'm asking because the same thing has just happened to me now - I deposited the other day and again today with **** Electron and have placed a couple of bets and now when I try to login, it tells me my account is blocked and tells me to dial some customer service number (which is located in Malta!). I am in the UK and the Unibet website has a tollfree number for it and I've been dialing and dialing it for 2 hours with no reply whatsoever and have sent an email to customer support, again with no reply.

Any advice on the matter will be gratefully appreciated.

Does unibet limit you if you win a little like other UK books?

What are there limits like and do they offer American odds? If they are slow to limit you I may give them a shot. I believe their bonus's really suck but I much prefer american odds to decimals.

Last time I checked them out 24/7. They have slow lines and fairly high limits for a Euro book, which surprised me actually. Now from what remember they don't offer American odds either.

I feel they are a very safe book for recreational type players that pays out pretty fast via moneybookers.

the first limit is between 200-400 Euro (to win) if you bet a lot.

I do not know whether they are show American odds or not

I usually bet around $500 US a game. Sounds like one good day and they will limit me.
