I have a 4 figure withdraw I tried taking out on May 12th. After about a week of them stalling they finally cancelled my withdraw and closed my account yesterday. They said this was due to both me and my roommate having an account and using the same address. My question is has anyone ever received their full withdraw amount request after the withdraw has been cancelled?

Members are not permitted to open multiple accounts (either within Sportsbetting.com itself or affiliated websites) in order to circumvent the limits imposed by our wagering system. Performing such an action may trigger an audit of the member's accounts. If multiple accounts have been used then all bets may be voided, accounts may be inactivated and winnings may be forfeited. This also counts for family members in the same household (or physical address) or Non Family Members of the same household (or physical address). No exceptions.

From that, they are within their rights, even if you guys did not intend on circumventing limits or whoring their bonus. That said, if your accounts are both in good standing then this shouldn't really be a problem and it is a foul action to close your account.

Sportsbetting have in the past agreed to pay confiscated winnings, so with the help of sbr, you should have a good shot of getting the money back unless it isn't obvious that you and your roomie have abused sportsbetting.

Okay thanks for the gleam of hope. Lou is currently helping me . My roommate and I had no intention of ever abusing the site. In fact I only bet on one game and won the rest on blackjack. My roommate has won all of his money on blackjack so I don't think there is anyway that we could abused the site at all. Thanks for the info I'll keep this updated.

This is where logic should come into play. However, there is no one at sportsbetting with a brain. The no multiple account rule is there for a reason, but in this case, they should pay out on the basis no one was attempting to defraud them and they'd likely make it all back (given that the players were playing in the casino) in the long run.

I did only cash in $100 though and my winnings were a high 4 figure number so I think my bonus account went away quickly.

seems fair. i do think they should also get the bonus. but not keep both accounts opened to avoid future possible problems. they did not do any of things that are the reasons for 1 account per household.

can't wait to hear how this turns out. i think they will do the right thing and pay them. the entire balance. and only allow 1 account.

One of the reasons for no multiple accounts is to stop people claiming multiple sign-up bonuses, so they did do at least one thing... though I agree the amount here seems too minuscule to really class as that.
