Default BoDog

I mainly only see complaints on this board so I think its important to report positive experiences when they occurr. While I don't necessarily always like their odds and I think their mins are too low, I think Bodog has made significant improvements related to customer service and payouts over the past several months. I use several books and Bodog currently is the easiest in getting money in and just recently I received a payout in less than 5 days. I also get emails updating on my payout status and received a fed ex tracking number without requesting via email. Several months ago, it took a very longtime to receive payouts from them and their customer service was lacking so this represents a huge improvement. I just thought it was important to give positive feedback when it is due.

Thanks for sharing your positive payout experiences on them Emat.

I feel most people here will all agree that Bodog does offer some very good deposit options for U.S. players. It's usually the withdraws with them that seemed to be the problem.

Bodog is a decent book for Rec. players; however, they do present dual lines and relatively slow payouts by regular mail.

Yes, bodog does allow e-deposits now, but they still take about 1 month to clear (even though the funds are readily available to bet.)

An A- book at best, but a decent choice since the US anti-gambling laws went into effect based upon stability, ease of use, and reliable (but relatively slow) payouts. I have tried to open new accounts with some books, but many will only take WU or bank wires as an initial deposit and I just gave up trying.

My only complaint is that bodog's customer service is still a bit spotty as they will tell you what you want to hear until you press them for an answer. It may take a bit of prodding, but bodog has answered most of my questions that I presented to them.

GL.

I'll admit...they do try to give you the run--around a little bit at first but.................you just have to make sure you send them all the necessary documents......I faxed them some stuff and they said they didnt get it so.................I faxed it every 10 minutes for an hour and their 48 hour window to look at the fax suddenly became 5 minutes.

It just seems like they have made a lot of improvements over the past month or so, which is all you can ask in this tough legal environment. Hopefully, these are permanent improvements. Protection of my money is the most important thing for me in a book and I think they have gained my trust. I do wish they would rasie limits and stop juicing the odds, but with Pinnacle not an option now, they are a pretty good choice even for non-rec bettors.
