what is the best online sportsbook to use?
i currently use bodog and i think is really user friendly, and i don't see anything wrong with it. . . especially if i wanted to play the ponies or poker i am one click away. . . also the depositing is instant from my checking account, which is very covienent. . . however i have heard several people say bo dog is trash and i was curious and why you all think that?. . . what is so much better at these other sites? where should i be and why?

louisvillekid,
please get your money out of bodog immediately...I know that SBR still has them in the A- category, but I'm not going to comment further other than to say I respectfully disagree...
I recommend the following four books:
matchbook
bookmaker
betjamaica/ greek
legendz/ the pig
you will become extremely happy once you have your money in these books, but please do not contact me via private message about giving me a referral bonus, because I would be "stealing" from SBR...you will enjoy those books though...GL bud...

I second what Pags says.
Bodog deals dual lines. They also put the lines up very late.
Lines go up sunday night at most books. When does bodog put them up? Sat. or Sunday morning?

I'll take your action. Send me $5,000 western union and I will give you a $10,000 credit line. Honest.

Last NBA playoff season BoDog failed to put up a money line often, why I don't know. I no longer use them. I like 5Dimes OK, no problems. Early lines etc.

sportsbook.com is one of the worst books you can possibly play with sweethook. You should get your money out of there as quickly as possible.
The best thing to do is have money in Matchbook and another account (i.e. Bookmaker, BetJamaica, Olympic, Legeden). Not Slodog though.

the logic of having money in two accounts, is in case you can get a better line at one of them. . . im guessing? Will do that next year, i will be back strong. . . after learning everything i have from this site, im so excited to start next season already. It will be my 1st full year doing everything right, and not chasing , and just straight money management capping!. . .im only 22, im starting to learn some discipline for gambling. . .

Love me some Bodog/Great poker/Decent sportsbook
I've been with Bodog for over 2 years and they've always been good to me! They're a little tough on the betting lines for sports...ie....late lines and if you find a game you like at
-6 it will be -6 (-115) on Bodog! I play semi-pro poker on there though and always find soft games which more than makes up for the tougher lines. Their daily poker tournaments almost always have a overlay...for example....a $30,000 guaranteed payout will have maybe 425 sign up at $60 each which is only $25,500! Thats $4,500 of their money that they're contributing to the purse! You won't find that anywhere else to my knowledge....definitely not on Stars or Full Tilt! Their payouts are dependable and a little quicker again....received the last 2 within a week of the request...the only catch being it takes 2 weeks approximately for your deposit to clear for them! I also play Betus which has better lines and posts them much sooner. Big drawback there is they required $25,000 of play for withdrawal on a $5k deposit....which most players never reach! For a small to medium sports player...Bodog works for me!!

If you like the ponies, then BOL or BM is perfect for you--because of the rebate. If you're betting horses at Bodog, you're giving money away.
