Can Intertops be counted on to pay?
I'm not blaming them for anything. However, they are a book that does not initially deduct your your withdrawal request from your account at the amount at the moment you ask for it. This is a thinly veiled attempt at getting you to bet your winnings away before you withdraw it (as has done Sportsinteraction and the former Big Book before it became Bodog.)
Well, theyve got me a couple of times. Will this book actually pay?

yes they do pay....and no they dont deduct it right away when you request it
its the old slow pay tactic.....took me about a week on average to get a payout from them....I moved on

Their software is absolutely horrible !!
They have been around forever, and they do pay and all, however they are not exactly the promptest book out their.

They have not stiffed anyone yet. Do you think you will be the first? With them, you have to be patient, but they will pay. I think they are rated B+, which is good enough to ensure the book will pay.

I used them a few years ago. I got paid fine, but seems like I always had to do some back & forth with CS to get my bonuses & whatnot. I think it was such a hassle that I just quit using them.

I've never had big money at Intertops, but I have always been paid without a problem. Not the fastest book, though.

I've been with them since 1996, and have taken dozens of payouts. They are slow, ridiculously so at times, but you will be paid, of that there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever.....

What about the kid from Florida who bet the Marlins to win the series a few years back for a dime at something like 150/1 where they said their max payout was $100,000 after he won? Was that not Intertops and did they eventually pay him in full?
In general a very solid sportsbook.

I remember reading about that. Wasn't that 5 years ago? If I recall, the rules always noted the limit but the software let you bet up to the risk max.

That was before Bill joined SBR and I remember it well. The player hired the same law firm that was working for SBR at the time to pursue Intertops. We were put in an uncomfortable position trying to sort that one out.
Itops paid the $100,000 and refunded the over wager amount.
Many if not all the sportsbook softwares were like that back in the day hence the rules on max payouts. They were there to make sure the software wouldnt send the book into bankruptcy.
Itops is a very safe book with a very long track record. Excellent for smaller players. They have a lot of unique betting offers but most have very low betting limits.

.
Intertops is a nice book, and agree with the original poster that they do delay the withdraw process.
The main thing is that you will be paid and customer service is always available to answer questions regarding your account.
