I was recommended by SBR, I am sure I am on their sheet - I figured they did a little research, when doing their ratings.

B- to B+ Good, minimal risk to players funds. Top 10% of all books.

B+ is a sliver away from A- to A+ Elite, top 1% of all Sportsbooks, Guaranteed safety & quality.

Am I missing something.. when the day comes we cant trust a B+ rating, an A- must not be far behind.

The difference between Phoenix and Bet911 is that BetPhoenix have a lot more cash on hand, whereas Bet911 had to make it up as they went along.

I would think that BetPhoenix of all the "top" bookie would know what insane bonuses will do for a book in the long run. You may not remember it, but back in late 2008 they aquired a bookie called BetOT. The exact details of their affilliation can be debated, but that is not the point. What happened was that BetOT offered insane bonuses. I am sure some of the oldtimers here remember the good old K100 bonus code, and also the 400% moneybookers rebate offer. You could deposit using a 100% offer (8xroll? I don't remember), say for $500, if you managed to lose that you could redeposit $500 again and take advantage of the Moneybookers rebate offer, so you would get a $2000 freeplay. It had something like a 18x rollover though, but it was manageable. The best part was that you could also get the offer in £ and €, so the potential freeplay money was doubled. Oh, and you could also cash out one week and reload the next.

The bonus fest didn't last long though, maybe two months of full party time before deposits didn't cover the huge withdrawals. Mike and Alex over there basically just ran away from everything (and started BetDos). Phoenix distanced themselves a bit from them, but they took care of all the players. The affilliates were, as far as I know, not paid out ("What is the exact affilliation between OT and BP" was a big deal in the affilliate arena after things went south)

BetPhoenix doesn't need to offer those big bonuses. Their product has or has had so many flaws it is not even funny, but they could manage without those crazy bonuses, unlike Bet911. I do think that BetPhoenix learned a lot from the OT days, so they would know what the limits are and how to set bonus rules (i.e. only losing accounts, no europeans, 30 days hold and so on)..

i've been playing at BP for awhile now and have never had any problems receiving payouts or account being hacked.. I'm also up over 6k with them in a period of 3 months with 2k still sitting in account.. it's all a bunch of bullshit to discredit a legitimate book cause some retards didn't read the fine print..

If 70% is too good too pass up with an F rated book, why not go to all F rated books that offer 100% + bonuses?? You get to see a nice chunk of change on top of your deposit but you will never actually see, let alone spend the money, in cold hard cash.

There is a tremendous run on the bank at BP right now because of all the negative posts and/or red flags.

I was contacted by phone today by BOTH BETPHOENIX and WAGERCHIEF with offers.

I will use the wait and see approach.

I have had my account hacked, and BP is stealing my money. Could you explain your hare-brained people "got hacked cause their wireless connection wasn't as secure as they think" in a little more detail? Is your theory that 4 different SBR posters (and God knows how many other people), 2 of whom have been reimbursed in full by BP, none of whom knows each other, living on different continents, none of whom have had problems with other accounts being hacked, all happened to be targetted by 4 different local hackers who all had the same MO?

About $3K. The "hacker" went into my account and placed a bunch of stupid parlays. In the other 3 hackings, the hacker had went into the casino and did things like hit on 19 and 20 in blackjack. I had heard about this right here on this forum and asked BP to block any access to the casino from my account. That's probably why the hacker/BP employee placed stupid parlay bets instead.

I was able to notify BP before any games in many of the parlays had even started. In many cases, the games were scheduled for later in the week because they were NCAA tourney games. Despite this fact, BP waited until the parlays were all losers (instead of just cancelling them before the games even started) and then gave me the old "Sorry, all bets final".

I submitted a complaint with SBR. I have to hand it to SBR, throughout this "investigation" they have been a really great proponent and apologist - for BP! BP will not provide me with with any info, although I have made specific requests.

But don't worry about it. BP is STILL looking into this. They have their best people working on this. I believe they have assigned Inspector Clouseau and Harry Crumb to head up the inquiry.
