I requested a check today (also $1000 limit), but missed the cutoff for this week. I was told that mine would be included with next week's batch, and that checks are mailed on Thursday or Friday.

Let's all hold off on the party until these checks arrive and actually make it past getting cleared by your local bank.

already bad signs..

called to request a check for next week since both lenny said and the site says they will pay once a week. the rep said that they will call when they send out the next batch of checks. i asked how long that will be and he said he didnt know (i heard him talking to monica in the background). i told him it was supposed to be once a week and he was surprised and said, "who told you that? i dont know when the next batch will be sent but we will call you when we do". hope this wasnt a one time deal to stall the lawsuit.

My check cleared. I don't think it's a ploy. Maybe Lenny really didn't have the money, and now that he has some he's trying to at least start making good on what he owes. Not that it makes the whole thing right, but if he doesn't have the money, what's he supposed to do?

Suzy it could be that everyone can get they 1st check then if they have any money left they'll start send the 2nd check.

I just called them and asked them about the whole process, and they told me my first check was sent last Thursday (which I haven't received yet) and that they were waiting until everyone got their first check to send out the second batch. I received a check last week and it cleared. I called today to request a payment this week, and Monica said that a second check would be sent later in the week.
