Default Shady experience with 5Dimes...

Be sure to check your balance regularly with 5Dimes... 5Dimes subtracted a certain amount from my balance. When I contacted them, they accused me of making simultaneous bets at the same time (whatever that means). Then when I said can you tell me what I bet on (since 5Dimes won't let you see anything past 14 days) she just puts me on hold for 20 minutes. Then later tells me, I made two bets during halftime... 2nd half and a 4th quarter bet on the same game.

I was like, ummmmm... you can't make a 4th quarter bet during the half time of that game, only before the game starts. This went on for about 5 minutes then she kept repeating the same shit, "You are not understanding me sir, you made a simultaneous bet from the IP address you frequently use." I said to my self, 'You dumb bitch, you are the one with an understanding problem.' Then she puts me back on hold for several minutes and comes back to tell me 5Dimes will credit back the amount as a bonus. Some shady shit if you ask me...

They've always done shit like this. What they do with their horses is arguably the most lowlife of all. They'll take bets up until post time, and if the bet wins they'll you that they go by the DRF times and thus your wager is void. However, if your bet loses it'll obviously stay. Clear shot taking that could be prevented if they so desired.

I had a buddy D (and no, it's not yours truly) call and ask what is their definitive policy, and he was told by the horse manager that they grade on a case by case basis. When he voiced his displeasure, he was told to go **** himself and he can take his business elsewhere. Apparently Tony's (the owner's) attitude has carried over throughout the organization.

No reason to play at 5D when you've got books like theGreek, WSEX, and BetJamaica out there....

Another thing 5D at least used to frequently do is leave game lines out for about 5-10 minutes after each game started. Same thing as above. If your bet wins it's voided, if it loses it stands. Clever or really low depending on how you look at it...

I used to play there, not anymore. There are simply better options out there, ones that don't include the owner of all people thinking he can tell players to go f*** themselves any time he feels like it.

LMB,
5D mgt. asked us for your account ID so they can look into this. If willing, send to assistance@sportsbookreview.com.

this crap get me wound up everytime i hear of it. 5dimes is actually one of my favorite books which angers me even more. How did u know the funds were gone? Was there any record of them being gone like in the transaction log? I never keep good enough records and probably wouldn't catch something like this.

Besides poor communication, I don't think we know what this actually is yet. Hopefully we can discuss here soon.

There has been a lot of complaints lately about 5 Dimes. If these are found to be true will you downgrade 5 Dimes?

Like they really give a crap. They want to act interested when things like this become public, but if they really cared they'd train their staff to be courteous and helpful. Hard to set that example when the owner is an arrogant douche.

Maybe it is all the time holed up in their ratty little facility, they ought to invest in an arcade machine or something to cheer up those drones working for them!

When I tried to open a new account with 5 dimes, they would only take a Western Union transfer for the initial deposit.

5 Dimes is not one of your more well funded books and I would be extremely careful playing there, bet no more than $20 a game and your fine.

It is at best a C- book.

Be careful
