I don't like seeing people get screwed though especially in and industry where the losers outrank the winners about 100 to 1, winning should be celebrated by a book and used as a promotional tool instead of trying to cheat someone who played and won.

I think SBR should have a a very strict policy for a book to get above a D- rating. If an online book offers a line, and a customer offers a bet on that line, and the online book accepts the bet, then the bet must be graded and winnings must be paid. PERIOD.

I agree, but SBR's position, repeatedly stated, is that only theft of deposits is truly bad; theft of winnings is not grounds for automatic downgrading.

The OP is obviously lying about part, at least, of "her" story (else she wouldn’t have pointedly avoided addressing the issue regarding proof that she was travelling in CR when she signed up), but I agree that if BetEd booked the bets, and doesn't pay, that's theft and should be grounds for blacklisting. I just don't expect to see it happen.

I'm not saying that the OP is being honest in all portions of her story, but I do believe she placed bets which won and is not getting paid and what BetED is doing is a dangerous precident for them to set because all it does is lead down the road to "only players who lose every day get paid" i.e. noone.

One other thing: some have doubted that the OP, who just signed up with a sportsbook for the first time (but later said (s)he had wagered before), could possibly have understod the Pinnacle lean.

It doesn't prove anything, but within a week of signing up for the first time (a couple months ago), I had read a couple books on the sports gambling, had spent quite a few hours reading on a couple of these forums, and could explain the Pinnacle lean (albeit not perfectly). Some people do their research.

Now if only I could turn $1000 into 19K...

Tunneling to an arbitrary IP is trivial with some cooperation from the location at the end of the tunnel.

At this point i think its safe to say that if you send proof that you were in CR when those 7 plays were made, plus all other documentation needed, and that is confirmed by Bill or any mod you'll have overwhelming suppot from this forum.

My understanding is that even if it wasnt you who made those 7 plays in CR, cause you are a resident of the U.S you are still entitled to the money, however your integrity has certainly got to be questioned as you stated in post 1 that it was you in CR who made those plays, yet when other posters ask you about this you get defensive and don't anwser the 64thousand $ question, thus leaving the impression that at best your a liar.

Here is what I think. If you were in Costa Rica, who was the person who put you in BetEd. I would not believe your story if you told me you just looked them up and sign up for an account. There was someone in the middle. That is the person you should talk to. If BetEd does not pay, then you should put the lean on this person.

No lie. Between this thread, Uncle Murdoch and the Cheese & Jism show, the past few days have been pretty lively around here. And it validates what John told me when I came aboard at SBR nearly two years ago. Got a minute?

John and I were negotiating salary and all that jazz over a few margaritas and cabrito burritos down at Mi Tierra's in the Alamo City. I drove in from my ranchito just north of Montell and I think John had just flown in from the Super Bowl. Doesn't matter. Anyway, we finally got around to talking about retirement/401k, and John tried to low-ball me saying SBR didn't have the money, yadda-yadda-yadda. I mean, c'mon! The man sh¡ts $100 bills!

So we finally met halfway and he agreed to match 50% of my own contributions, telling me not to say anthing about that because he's only matching 40% for both Dozer's and Sean's 401k's...ooops!

John promised me that in addition to the money, I'd also gain a wealth of information to be used for the doctorate in sociology I've been slowly working on at Jim Bob Jumpback's Community College & Feed Store in Barksdale. Plus John told me I'd be able to draw on characters for my fictional works from the characters here at SBR. Man, oh man, he was spot on with that notion.

I just got an email from betED. I am assuming they saw this forum or that Dozer contacted them. It was 100% nice email, and basically said once again that they dont take customers from Costa Rica. They asked for some documentation to clear this matter, and promised to work FULLY with SBR.

We all might have been wrong about them and they might be a stand up book just trying to do the right thing.

I am going to ignore all of the idiot comments about me being a 280-pound man getting off on making the type pink. To be honest all of you guys can think whatever you want just as long as I get my money.

Whether you get paid or not doesn't change the fact that (1) you're a liar, (2) you (the poster) aren't a female, and (3) the account holder (the female from Minnesota) wasn't in Costa Rica at the time the account was opened and the initial bets were placed.
