Books and their stories. Is there no end to them. Below is an actual conversation I had with Bet911 today.

Robert: "Oh, we are not paying out any moneybookers. Our moneybookers account has been hacked and we have 60-70 accounts who have defrauded us. We have stopped paying out all moneybookers until we have time to investigate further".

Me: "When can I expect to get paid?"

Robert: "Our investigation could take months. We are a very small company. But we can pay you by check."

Me: "OK. When can you do that? When could I get a tracking number?"

Robert: "Oh not until maybe the middle of next week. We still have to pay the guys who asked for payouts this Monday."

Robert: "Moneybookers still wants us to use them, but we won't until we find out what fraud was committed".

Me: "Can you send me a personal moneybookers then? You already said none of the fraud was from Canada."

Robert: "Oh no, we want to hold on to the money we have."

LOL. I have filed an SBR complaint form. I have never heard of a moneybookers account being broken into before, I do not believe any of this story for a second. In my complaint form, I asked SBR to look into this also. In the meantime I would say...

Stay far far away!

We've written Bet911 for an update on Moneybookers. In another complaint filed today, a player was also offered a check as an alternate withdrawal option. We'll ask that any players forced to accept an alternate withdrawal option do not have to incur any more fees than they normally would.

Bet911 should also remove Moneybookers as a withdrawal option from the site until they can continue to offer it.

Thanks for the swift response Lou, I also heard from Bill and provided him with some documentation.

I wouldn't mind a check if I knew when I could get one. "Sometime next week because we still have last Mondays requests to deal with", while it maybe an honest response, is not what I want to hear.

They are postup funds they are dealing with, they are supposed to be available on demand.

I have a story to tell if I dont get my check on Friday....to put it nicely my check was asked for 3 Mondays ago and $ still sitting in my account as of Wednesday night . If its not here like promised I will tell the entire story. This Moneybookers thing and my situation has me very concerned

It seems that there are quite a few people out there with stories about bet911. Like patty1- i have my own story too. But i will wait until next week when i was told i will receive a check as well..

Yeah, we are all told we will receive a check.

Well, in my case I was told I could go in line to receive a check "next week". But without a date and/or a tracking number, the promise is worthless IMO.

This is not good at all. I hope this isnt headed to where it looks like its headed. Some of the emails Ive kept with the excuses are laughable if it wasnt my money we are talking about. Ur story starts today Peep mine goes back alot farther than that

You will never get paid any faster listening to their bullshit stories. Either a book pays or they don't. If they don't please let your fellow posters know. It will help you in the long run as well. Believe me, I have tried it both ways and sideways. Better to be open about it if you feel like they are stringing you along.

And I do think we will get paid. But I wouldn't bet too much on it.

They owe me $4500. How much do they owe you guys?

I´ll join the club aswell am currently waiting on a check of 1500. They have until tuesday next week. Hope I don´t have to file a report on them. Trust they´ll pay, but could for sure have lived without this mess! (and I guess they could too!)

I did receive a $1500 moneybookers this a.m., which is what I originally requested.

So I am going to shut up for a while, play out my balance, and if I have any money still there in a week or two, request another payout.

Well done Peep. May I ask how you managed that? Was it due to your SBR complaint or did you just keep hassling them over it?

They can't really claim that it's impossible for them to payout via Moneybookers now as their account clearly isn't frozen.

I did not have a check pending.

I went strange yesterday when they first wouldn't send me moneybookers ("We don't know when we will be sending moneybookers again.") and then, after they offered a check, wouldn't/couldn't tell me when the check would be sent or when I could get a tracking number.

To me that is not acceptable. It is MY money, not theirs after I win it. It is supposed to be available upon demand.

So I went public with it, filed an SBR complaint, Bill Dozer got back to me within a half hour asking me for more details. Mofo and Ball Wonder at EOG and Dirty at GamblingIQ also offered to help out, and contacted some people they knew.

This morning I had the moneybookers originally requested yesterday.

So did they pay fast? Yes, within 36 hours of the original request.

Would I play there again? Yes, I plan to continue playing there.

So my advice would be that if you can't get paid, take it public. AFTER you feel you have used up your internal resources at the book. I know the book says "look work with us, if it hits the forums it will be harder for everyone to get paid. You are at the top of the list."

Do not bellieve the book when they tell you this. Squeeky wheels gets grease is a better operating system IMO. Books use the forums, players should to.

Just my opinion.

Glad you got paid and agree 1000% about your comment on the relationship books have with forums.

Books realize the majority of forumites are losers long term. Why scare off all this potential profit over a slow pay complaint.

Peep, yeasterday these guys were blatantly lieing to you, they forced you to file a complaint with SBR,they forced you to be ready to accept .90 cents on the dollar from OSU at EOG,you were ranting how the money was yours and should be available on demand, yet now your 100% content with recieving a third of what you wanted.

Well, I am happy Al Masters, don't know what else to tell you. I have pretty well played daily at Bet911, they are one of my most used books.

So it was very upsetting when I requested a $1500 payment yesterday and didn't get it. I felt i should have.

The wanting my full balance was a knee jerk reaction to not getting the $1500 on demand.

I am being as honest as I can in this thread. If you don't like me being satisfied with $1500 in the bank and $3000 still in play, I can't help you. It is my money and I am happy with the resolution.

No one is saying anyone else who is still waiting for a payout should be happy, and if I was them I wouldn't be either. Do I think they should be paid right away? Yes. But that is not my call, it is Bet911's.

I will never understand the mentality of some of these sports books. Why didn't robert come out a few weeks ago and say we are having problems with moneybookers so there could be a delay in getting your withdrawals processed. i.e. taking a cheque as a withdrawal option. Simple solution to a ever decaying situation.

This would've stopped all the bad press and the detremental damage it is doing to his business. But instead they decided to play cloak and dagger and everyone now is left in limbo not knowing were they stand on withdrawals.

I thought bet911 was a up and coming book , they were clearly happy at the upgrade in ratings so why spoil it now , this leads me to believe all is not well there. I hope it all get resolved one or another.
