Default Should U.S. players feel lucky after they see this?

I was just browsing the betpop website rules page, and I happen to notice that they don't accept Costa Rica players anymore.

What other books don't accept Costa Rica players?

    Default hmm

is the book located in costa rica? i would imagine that they dont get much biz from there, but im guessing it is bc they are more amenable to lawsuits from costa rican players. if you were playing a sportsbook in the US i would be easier to sue than some place in costa rica. so i would assume the same thing is going on here.

    just my guess

Default i dont know much about costa rican law...

but im guessing that is it. if the book takes 200 bucks they owe you and never pay you...are you really going to go overseas to sue them? of course not. i am not saying this book is going to do this. but if you read most of the terms, the law of the country of location controls. accordingly you would probably need to go to costa rica to sue, or at least figure out the law and probably get a lawyer in costa rica.

    again just my speculation
i have not heard anything good or bad about this particular book

If they are an "International" company based in Costa Rica they do not pay taxes. As soon as they trade with people in Costa Rica they have to start paying tax to Costa Rica
