I've received several complaint about BetUS payments in the last couple weeks.

Has anyone received a payout in October?

I was just thinking we have royal, sbg and sportsbook.com all scamming players, at least BetUS is not in the frey.

Their ads are very enticing for newbies.................rarely a month goes by without me hearing about or talking to one getting excited about signing with them.
I know a pair of brothers who have re upped 17 times(seriously), taking a fat bonus each time. They think it's great and have no complaints...............but, of course, they have never asked for a withdrawal.

I heard they sneaked out of Panama but havent been able to confirm that. But they could be on the run again.

I am ashamed to admit that I am a newbie and got with BetUS.com without checking into it very carefully.

I found this website because my experience with BetUS so far made me want to find out about them and to find a better sportbook.

I received one payment so far which went fairly smoothly.

However, the most recent payment has been a headache. The money was finally taken out of my account and listed as paid on Monday but I will have to wait until tomorrow (48 hours) to get the control number.

Not only that but I was told the following for the future:

• Since I was using a MasterCard to upload that they will NO LONGER use MoneyGram to wire me any payouts (maximum was $2,000)

• They DROPPED the maximum per day payout from $5,000 to $3,000 and will only send me courier checks from now on.

So today I requested two courier checks of $3,000 be sent to me. I will let you know how those turn out. Thank goodness for this website!

One additional thing that ticked me off.

I was told earlier today to call back at 7:00 pm this evening, Tuesday 10/23/07 to get my control number for my $2,000 MoneyGram payout and when I did I was told the following:

"Sorry, you will have to call back tomorrow but I can assure you that you will get it tomorrow. And hey, look at it this way man... maybe it's a good thing you did not get it tonight because you might have gone out an blown it at a bar or something really stupid."

First of all, I have heard the "I can assure you..." line before

Secondly, what kind of statement is that - it was a good thing they kept my money from me one more extra because I may have done something stupid with it?!

I am in the process of getting my money the hell out of BetUS.com. When I told them of their bad reputation the response I got was that was one person's opinion and that ESPN thought highly of them.

BetUS is notorious for this type of stuff, so if you don't receive your promissed payments please advise us of it.

the last time i withdrew from betus this year, it was also at a limit of $3000 for a check, does anyone know if there is some banking regulation for checks over that amount coming from foreign banks?

There is no max amount. Companies send zillions of dollars daily. But books do like to stay under the radar so that amount is not unreasonable.

It looks to me like they are paying. Could be smoother but I dont see a lot of complaints where I sit.

I asked how payouts were done when I signed up with this book(23sept2007) their response was: Moneygram in 3 to 4 days and fedex check in 7 to 10 business days. When I called on the 24th they stated that a rule change was made yesterday and credit card players were no longer able to receive moneygram only courrier checks, they will take 7 to 10 working days. Is there an online book that is honest and without deception. I'll keep you guys informed of whether I get paid.

Please keep us posted on your situation senrabnhoj.

As far as good honest books to play out without any hassles go. Pinnacle would be the book I'd advise you playing at if your not a U.S. citizen, however if you are a U.S. citizen. Then I would recommend TheGreek, WSEX, Bookmaker, or 5Dimes.

This is almost exactly like my situation, except I am only trying to get about 400 dollars from them at this point. I wish I had found these boards before I put any money into BetUs. I was thinking about joining BetJamaica, that seems to be a solid place right?

I am happy to annouce that I received my $2,000 via MoneyGram today from BetUS.

It took 9 days to collect which is just within their window of 7-10 days but it took a full 48 hours after the money was taken out of my account. But they did eventually tell me worst case scenario it would take up to 48 hours.

The one thing that was so nerve racking was that one call center operator would promise me something and when I would call back someone else would tell me something different which is what may have made it seem like it took longer. They did waive the $35 transaction fee for me for being so slow.

I am in the process of liquidating the rest of my money on their site though.

I just requested two $3,000 courier checks sent to me since they will not pay me through MoneyGram anymore. That will leave me with $5,000 to play with this weekend.

I got pretty lucky on two four game parlays the previous weekend and then went on a roll with (Pitt over Cincy - SAT) (Broncos over Steelers - SUN) and then (Indy over Jax - MON)

I have been stinking up the joint when it has come to the baseball postseason though. I am glad baseball is about over, yeesh!

To be honest with you it wouldn't me at all, because I know their track record on those types of balances.

Trying to get 800 from BETUS, without much success. They are wanting me to photocopy and fax drivers license and credit card for "security" before they'll pay out. She then directed me to some form on their website that said something similar

Obviously makes me very apprehensive. Has anyone else been told this by betus? Has anyone been paid lately?

Hey TCW

Yes, that is their procedure but I highly recommend scanning the fron and back of both your driver's license and credit card because faxing a xerox copy of them will not be very legible.

They also emailed me a form to fill out and fax with you signature and account information. That combined with your scan that you email to their customer service department will do it.

I have received two payments in the amounts of $2,000 each this month and took 7 and 9 days to receive via MoneyGram. However, they just changed their policy so that you can only receive MoneyGram payouts if you put in money that way. If you put money in with a credit card then you can only have courier checks sent to you via FedEx.

I am waiting on two courier checks that i just requested on Tuesday so I will keep everyone updated on my experience.

Dont even bother faxing your cards and D.L, i did today and they refused it. My only hope is to scan them and hopefully talk to an honest person at BETUS.

I would appreciate any advice, here is my situation.

I have 3k in my account and want a pay out. My only option, having used a credit card seems to be Currier check even though those are dangerously lost in the mail. I would much rather do an echeck directly into my account, any ideas? Also, I have talked to a shady man named "sid" who said some one else has deposited in my account with another visa, which is absolutly false and my betting records prove that yet there could be a red flag on my account....

sigh... any chance I see the 3k? Im thinking about requesting 3K payout aSAP yet making a deposit and playing small amounts to keep them satisfied
