Bet-1 is the conglomeration of the owners of thesweetscience.com a well known Boxing News website and betphoenix.com which is an online casino and sportsbet. I don't know much about there customer service, they also have a very stable financial backing which is always a positive.

Looks like a reduced juice book (-105).
http://www.betphoenix.com/live.bp?league=(2|2)
Located in CR. Since they enter the ratings this high, I would assume SBR has a very good understanding of their business model. This book comes in with a -105 model, which is risky (see Cascade), especially for a new book. So what's the story?

Maybe someone with actual experience can further define huge.

That doesn't really raise a red flag with me at all DH. I've had that happen to me a lot in the past when I don't tell them I'm inquiring on SBR's behalf.

It's a lack of sincerity. You wanted to know something and they couldn't care less. All they cared about was signing you up and earning some commission. It may be an oversimplification, but when the lower level employees are insincere, that attitude usually filters down from the top.

We offer 10 cent lines on full game, and 20 cent lines for half as well as quarters.
We also have asian handicap for soccer and 10 cent line progressive for big leagues (e.g: English Leagues...

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum
Thanks for defining your limits, because I too had no luck getting that info out of your customer service department via the last live chat session, and a phone call.

I would like to see some improvement on their website. Looks like they're set up for phone bets, and may need some more time to complete the transition to the internet. After you sign up you have to call in. Why? And, at least before calling in, I don't see any ways to combine bets into parlays, round robins, or teasers. I don't see any payout scales for the same bets. "Best teasers in the industry" doesn't tell me a anything. And I don't see their props either.
So still too vague at this point, but definitely a plus that BetPhoenix shows up here. Hope he sticks around.
It doesn't help that CR government is letting books get away with murder at this time. Have we seen that in the Bahamas or Panama with books higher than a C rating? CR seems a lot less safe these days. So that shifts the balance to Panama and another 105 book (BOL). No need to rush in, but BetPhoenix on my radar for 2008. Doesn't reflect on BetPhoenix, but until the CR government shows any interest in protecting the rights and funds of US players, they're out -as a country- on my list.

2.81 for 2-teamer. That's pretty nice.
Justin, if you read this, would appreciate your thoughts. Since you were also more careful with the BOL rating.

BetPhoenix is backed by the ownership of Diamond Sportsbook. It's a separate operation at a different site and is targeting different players.

That would explain the high opening rating.
Getting confused. Diamond is offspring of Cris or same as Cris, Cris is Bookmaker to US. BetPhoenix backed by Cris or Diamond?

Since you're backed by Diamond the road to being "A rated" is probably wide open. A chance that you will have book-to-book transfers anytime soon?

SBR, since this book is backed by Diamond, can we have their live lines on the regular feed?

BF, click on 'Live Odds' at the top of the page below the adds.
Diamond is already on there. Three pages of books.
With a C rated book like LasPalmas already on there, you should be able to get a spot.

When that becomes in place then maybe I will give you a try, because it's not all that easy for us U.S. to move our funds around these days thanks to U.S. laws.
