3-QUESTION
SBR TRIVIA WINNER 05/28/2012
SBR should just fork over the 3300 (1900 +1400) to these two players, along with a public apology for allowing a D- book to advertise on its forum for weeks. That is, if they value the relationship of trust between players and SBR at more than 3300. If you want to be the watch dog that holds books accountable to the highest standards (which, I realize, SBR used to do), then you must hold yourself to the same standard.
SBR made a mistake, and admitted as much. There are consequences to that mistake. If you want to make Players Talk so dumb that you don't even read it yourself anymore, just so you can have more advertising revenue, at least step up to the plate when a handful of square players get burned as a direct consequence.

You'd make a good lawyer. I like how you sensationalize all of your points. I wish we caught all promotional posts the second they were made, but the reality is moderators cannot be everywhere at all times. If we could, we wouldn't need the report post icon () that posters can use. I'm surprised that given your complete frame of reference with everything WagerHub related, and your obvious recognition of the low-grade sportsbook that they are, that you didn't take it upon yourself to alert a moderator that spam was taking place?
If someone saw a WagerHub offer posted inside of a thread and decided to send them money, despite the fact that WagerHub was initiated at D- by SBR and subject of numerous complaint reports on SportsbookReview, I do feel sorry and ask those players to submit a sportsbook complaint form so that in the event that WagerHub decides to stop robbing players, we can follow up on their behalf.
SBR moderators cannot see everything that goes on , recently I brought a minor problem with an avatar to lou's attention and almost emediately he corrected the problem , point is , you see something , report it , I'm sure SBR would have looked into it...

This is not a criticism, because it was very entertaining, but the fact is that I've never seen anybody laughed off the board as hard as CrazyL, when he used to post his tennis plays.
This world of gambling is similar to dogs. People sniff each other out in an instant. Communication here is based on a simple underlying premisis: "I know more than you, so I'm betting against you" or "You may know more than me, so I'm not betting against you." Dog eat dog. To somebody with credentials, like Dozer, a book will listen. The book knows that he knows at least as much as they do, and probably more. But if a lightweight like C. would be allowed to talk to books on behalf of SBR that would undermine the whole credibility of SBR.
This moderator let these Wagerhub ads through. And now he says he didn't see them, and tries to blame the error on posters. lol FWIW, he had that exact same mentality with his tennis picks. He didn't see this WH fiasco coming, while it was standing out like a sore thumb, but did he own up to it? The first rule of gambling: own your mistakes.
I don't expect C. to understand this. But I would love to hear SBR John's opinion on this WH story.

thanks DB , I wasn't trying to be a d*ck about you asking Lou in a PM , just thought it might have gotten you a better response that way , maybe even the response you were looking for , I had a good experience with wagerhub and hope everything works out for you , I personally dealt with Tom at all times and he was very good to me , unfortunately , with all the stuff being said in this thread I can't bring myself to giving them any of my money , I left there on the plus side so I should probably just mark them as a book that I beat...
