I don't think they're keeping your small balance (which could be £££s for all I know) because of any larger financial issues. Whatever they owe you is a drop in the ocean compared to how much money passes through there daily.

If anything, your case is probably similar to the Betfred payout delays after Cheltenham, with their security people in Gibraltar taking a long time to verify the identity of certain players before approving payouts (there was a thread about one case, here). For whatever reason, your account has been flagged - though I note you appear to be alone in this - and you're now encountering UK-Gibraltar communication issues.

Just comply with their requests and wait it out. If you don't have your withdrawal in, say, 2 or 3 weeks, file a complaint with IBAS. It's fairly pointless - and a waste of your time - to start multiple threads having a go at them while you wait it out.

You can't make large balance at english sites because they will limit you as soon as you win once or twice, so don't worry.

but better to be limited than having the bookie steal the whole lot.

I wonder what they do with the money they dont pay ???

They can book horses at fixed odds to decent money which is more than any AMERICAN offshore pussies will do.

this a stupid thread, Ladbrokes may not be by far the best bookie in the world but they sure are a solid company.
Yes they will limit you to penies if you win, but your money is safe, they are problably in top 10 worldwide in finance stability.

Why not ? You can have large balance not a problem ! LOL .
With 10 K in your account you can wager $1 per game

Ladbrokes limits players to as low as 1 euro

Ladbrokes want's to be a leader in the sports gambling industry . Rated A
Yeah i wanna date Paris Hilton just for sex .
If you win couple of bets they will show you the door with new limits .
Ladbrokes = Losers only book .

    Shame.

US books will limit you to $50 if you take them for the large amount of money 20-50K .Lads will limit you to just $1 if you win more then 1k .

    Lads A BOOK .

Can someone change the Ladbrokes rating? what is the A for? i dont think my money is safe they havent got back to me at all.
stalling is stealing , same as if someone keeps saying the cheque is in the post.

If you had passed the bank account verification, this wouldn't be a problem. Why don't you double check with your UK bank that the details you gave Ladbrokes are exactly (full first name/shortened first name, village & town, or just town, post code, etc.) the same as those they have on file. You could even show your UK bank the details you gave to Ladbrokes and ask whether they believe that would fail ID verification.

That would be a productive use of your time.

Ladbrokes are an A book because your funds are safe there, my funds are safe there, in fact, the funds of everyone whose limits are greater than zero can rest assured their funds are safe there. Further, you can complain to IBAS, they are regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, and you can even sue them in court as gambling contracts are no longer unenforceable in English law. Finally, yours is an isolated case; the forums are not littered with complaints, indeed legitimate or otherwise, against Ladbrokes.

So bitching that their rating should be lowered is not IMHO a productive use of your time.

everything is correct it passed their checks . it got suspended next day after the cheltenham they unblocked it when i phone with my passport numbers . they paid me out half what i won. then blocked it again and made me register my personal nat west card. then emailed asking more docs, then said to me on the phone that they do not believe iam the account user i must go into the shop with the docs.

done all that , stood in front camera had photo taken by them and they said "will let you know , we dont give any timescale" !

so this is ok from A rated bookie?

Well, if this has been going on since Cheltenham, then it's been at least 4 weeks, so I'd recommend complaining to IBAS: http://www.ibas-uk.com/adjudicationForm.php

yes ok thanks. i read their form but the bets are not in dispute . i wanted to file a court summons for the balance the lady at the court said it will be ok as long as i can send it to a uk address . not gibralter.

I'd still fill out the IBAS form or call IBAS... the poster who had the Betfred problem (also just a security / payout problem) got some help from them.

It might be a bit premature to sue over it, but if you really want to go that route, this is the cheapest way: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp If I were you, I'd sent a letter of demand for payment of debt first, though, as that's just the cost of sending it registered, as opposed to the hassle and time it will take to file.... particularly, because, believe it or not, the worst going on here is incompetence, and your money really is safe.
