    5Dimes.com SCREWED me!

Hey all - I have been a member of the site for a long time, and always valued the insight and opinions of this forum. What prompted me to join is an expirience I had with 5dimes.com in their casino this past Friday:

First off, I have been gambling online for 20 years (I know I am old balls!!). I have NEVER had a dispute, problem, etc... with any of the sportsbooks I have used over the years. Also, just for frame of reference, I bet between $500 and $1,000 per event on average. Also, for reference I lose probably $40K per year betting sports. Obviously, I am not good at it, hell I suck balls! BUT, it is entertaining for me, I run a very successful business and can afford to lose what I play.

On Friday night March 19th, I was playing roulette in the 5dimes.com casino and after a few rolls of issue free roulette, I placed a $200 bet on EVEN outside. The ball comes down "20 Black". I am a winner... At least I should have been. Half way through the roll a window popped up and said "connection timed out, but quickly disappeared. After the winning number was announced my bet was taken, despite the fact that I placed a winning bet.

So after I spoke with a few 5dimes reps, I was finally asked to call back during business hours to speak with the GM, "Tony". I finally connected with Tony today. Tony's response was to call me a liar and to "enjoy the rest of March Madness because I am done with this". He went on to say a couple of other non-player facing/ignorant statements, which prompted me to tell him to suck my dick and exit the chat.

Now I can't blame him too much for his doubts, I fully realize there are a lot of scumbags out there looking for handouts, but given my consistent play with 5dimes.com and the fact I obviously don't really care about $200 (given my average wagers), you would think some considerations would have been made.

Take this for what it is worth. For me, I will never play with 5dimes.com again. Plain and simple. There are a lot of much better books out there. 5dimes.com is a good book but they have shown me they are not loyal to their customers and when push comes to shove, they don't value their customers.

Feel free to email with any questions.

There is no reason for losing money with sports betting with all the information available today. With your stakes you should take in 200k annually easily! Yet you can not touch online casinos, those will clean you up! Roulette is so damn rigged that it is a joke! Then again if you would take place like 5 Dimes for a 20-30k /year, you'd out of there by now for sure. If playing in their casino is fun for you, that is the price you pay... Your story is funny though, you joined this place today being in this scene for 20 years? Good joke! My name is Donald duck!

I joined 5dimes because of a contest on SBR and I love all the wagering options. I have never had so many options and I have accounts at BetJamaica and VIP.com. Every now and then I get some great service like Jennifer and Nicole but most of the guys are assholes. When I called earlier I heard somebody in the background screaming at a player and every other word was F*$K and I asked what that was about and was told Tony was having a bad day. How can you have such a great site and be so shitty on service?

Hey guys thanks for calling thast out: Correction, I havent been a registered member, but a long time lurker. I joined today officially because of my issues with 5dimes, but always enjoyed reading the insights and opinions on this board.

And just to confirm, yes gambling online FOR 20 YEARS!

And yes, I know wthere is lots of information out there, but I have TERRIBLE luck when it comes to gambling... But I absolutely low the highs and lows so the price is worth the rush for me.

Cheers guys, good luck in the rest of today's games.... I just signed up with another book so am LOCKED AND LOADED!!

I believe this story. Not too many people will admit losing at gambling. And stupid management is even more believable. I would look at someone's record before telling them to f\*\*k off. If they are consistently losing money and not a constant pain in the ass, and maybe, even if they are, I would probably give them this $200, especially if it is a first-time complaint.

The $200 is nothing in the long run, but the player will always remember how they got treated. Nobody remembers exactly what they paid for the last few cars they bought, but they can always remember how they got treated.

Based on a couple of posts, a manager cursing and telling players to f\*\*k off is a sad sack manager, lacks class and professionalism, and needs to be kept away from the clients. In a few years, when American companies will be competing for online business, he'll be begging you for your action.

so the OP has been gambling online since 1990? Incredible. I remember being one of the first people I knew who had internet (in 1995) it was text-only with a 14.4k dialup modem. You've been betting since 1990? I was in grade 2 at that time at a very modern school, and they didn't get internet till 1994. Shoot, BoDog is 15 years old, Sportbook started in 1997 yet you were betting online 5 years before either of them.
    MAGICAL!

p.s. if you really lose 40k a year, send me $500 or else you are a liar

here come the five dimes shills

    enter that \*\*\*\*\*\* durito

Tony is an easy target, so maybe we have another phantom complaint. Weird that JJ also posted in this thread; perhaps it's one of his many ghosts.

  15. #15

Why would 5 Dimes cheat him out of $200?

I know how you feel guy! I'm 26 years old, I've been gambling in Vegas since the mid 70s. I was using my iPhone one summer of 1992 and hit a big parlay, but they voided it because they thought the last leg of it (lakers -3) was a loss cause they believe that Kobe made the shot after time expired. This story to side, the guy Tony from 5Dimes... The day will come when some of his employees will shoot him or one of his wise guy customers will take a trip to Cost Rica put his head into toilet and hit the flush! What goes around usually tends to come around!
