Default Bodog Payout

Going for payout from bodog.com and feeling concerned about giving out sensitive credit card info in order to get paid. Any suggestions?

I understand. But what would stop them from cleaning out my credit card balance if they so desire or pass the info on to someone else who could?

If you have these type of concerns, you shouldn't be playing anywhere. It'll drive you crazy even before the games start.

Your credit card info could be stolen at any place, including department stores, restuarants and online purchases. You can't worry about it.

In fact, more likely to be stolen at a restaurant. Several big U.S. chains have had problems in the past few years with that scam.

Bodog is for real! Received check via courier in only 8 days. These guys have it right. They should be upgraded from A- to A+ immediately if this is the type of sevice they are providing! Also, they said if you want to avoid credit card fees when making a deposit, one should purchase either Visa or Mastercard gift cards and Bodog will accept the full amount of the giftcard. No $20 fees! The other companies like ewallet and others even charge more for deposits. So be careful on your deposits. For payment, Bodog will allow 1 check per calendar month at no charge. Courier payments are the quickest and don't cost anything if you can live with 1 payout per month.

Pretty funny silvy ... You get a withdrawal and wet your pants and want an upgrade ... If anyone other than a book took 8 days to get their customers something via courier they'd be out of business.

Regardless if you give Bodog your credit card info, you should monitor your bills to see if there are any fraudulent purchases on there.

I have not had a problem with Bodog, but never used a credit card since I am a US account.

Bodog is not an A+ book due to their late and dual line postings, adequate customer service, and that Bodog takes at least a month to get a check payout to you by regular mail.

A- at best (due to stability, decent deposit methods (e-check is back), and ease of use).
For the Rec. player, Bodog is fine. IMO.

I requested a check from matchbook at 8am on Monday the 22nd of this month and they check arrived fed-ex Tuesday the 23rd at 10am. 26 hour turnaround and the cost to withdraw the check was $28.50.

Has anyone requested a check from matchbook and has used their fed ex service and regular postal mail? I'm curious how much longer it took for the check to arrive.
