Default Matchbook payouts....how good are they?

I am thinking of opening an account there for baseball. How quick do they pay? How much do they pay out at a time? How much does it cost to get paid? I prefer to stay away from ** and **. Thanks in advance.

never had a problem with them
only complaint is $2500 max per request to Moneybookers
I never mess around with cheques - archaic stuff went by the way last century here

I haven't done checks myself for a few years now. I prefer bankwires. Do they have them? What are the limits?

It appears not for withdrawals but okay for deposits

Check out the options and details on their site or ask them direct for a first hand answer

Has anyone ever requested a check through Regular mail? How long did it take? They told me 15-20 days which is ridiculous, but I'd be shocked and pissed if it actually took that long. I was told the checks were processed in the US, and I'm from the US, so it cant possibly take that long.

Since they charged $9 for it, I actually thought that was for Fed Ex, and the $39 Courier Mail was overnight mail

I've used regular mail before, I think it took about 2 weeks.

IMO, you have no right to be pissed if it takes exactly how long they state it will take. If someone delivers on a promise, what would you be upset about?

If you want your money faster than the stated 15-20 days, choose a different method.

I love when people ask questions about info that you could find on the home page of the website that they are asking questions about. Here is a hint, every sportsbook has a banking section, just read the info so you dont have to ask questions about payouts that you could discover the answer to in two seconds. As for the legitimate question about checks, the max is $3,000, dont pay the $39 fee, get the $9 one and if you live in the United States you will get it within 5-8 days.

Can someone here clairify for the noob (me) how MatchBook works? You lay odds with a bet and you're essentially betting against another person? Or am I mistaken?

Not sure what you're asking for here.

I've done several with different shops to and from MB in the past. They are completed very quickly and hassle-free (usually only requires a single e-mail).

Is that what you were asking for?

    that's correct Jeff

Matchbook (like Betfair) is a betting exchange, not a bookmaker

customers wager with each other and Matchbook takes a commission on the deal

you either take a price which has been posted or offer a price for another player to take

price takers pay a commission whereas those who put up bids receive a small commission

You are kidding right? If you think that going to a books website gives you the real idea of their payouts you are fooling yourself.

Hi we are sportbook a and we specialize in slow payouts. Sure.

Also alot of sportsbooks will not post bankwires as an option on the internet but yet they have them....as in one of the books I am currently playing in...

Part of my question was how quick they pay. What a book says and what a book does are 2 different things. Simply checking the the site does not tell the story. I could give you an example of that but you only need to check the forum for that. Oh man...

I can confirm that I received a paper check via snail mail in a little over a week. Drawn to a US Bank, no problems at all cashing...always have had good experiences with Matchbook.

Do you always believe what it says on a sportbook's home page? Or the banking section? If so, why not go to a site called betcascade and see their wonderful information. They sound on the up and up and have a wealth of timely payout options.....

A lot of knowledgeable guys with a lot of experience have positive things to say in this thread, and this is Matchbook afterall so I'm sure in this case there are no concerns. But overall, to always take a sportbook at it's written word? You surely can't be that naive, can you?.....

I've done transfers to the Greek and they were handled very efficiently. I sent them an email requesting the transfer and they responded promptly saying the transfer had been sent.

Matchbook is a must have book for US players. and so far it's more reliable than betfair. the most problems for US players are the limit methods for deposit and withdraw.
