Default Jazz and ABCislands downgraded from B+ to B

Jazz and ABCislands downgraded from B+ to B yesterday due to listing unavailable transfer options. Two non-US players have complained that they would not have deposited if they had known that book-to-book transfers with Pinnacle Sports (SBR rating A+) and Bookmaker (SBR rating A+), as well as Neteller transfers were not available as advertised. Some players have taken a check paying the additional fees while having to accept the smaller transfer limits. Jazz plans to make both of these options available by the end of next week and will be reevaluated at that time.

It was me that was saying there a good book, and even though they were downgraded and all. I still will be more than happy to play there.

That seems to me to be a very quick rating move?

How many different books have listed funding methods that turned out not to be available recently? Most of them.

I though SBR was giving most books a little leeway with the processing issues.

Is there anything else behind this move. I'm about to deposit with Jazz.

Thanks SBR
I think this is exactly the push that is needed. I hope we will see them B+ or higher soon.

Btw. here was discussion if they allow multiple accouts at DPT. They are not allowed. So if omebody has registered at jazz or ABC then he/she can never get looselines discount prices. Weird too. My suggestion is to go straight to looselines and take reduced vig instead of bonus. It must pay off soon.

maybe transfers between different people, i also do not know what is in their heads... apparently many sentences from their website are not updated for months

or they just do not allow multiple accounts to winners

This has been going on for a few weeks. Last week they said they were ending their relationship with Neteller and weren't able to send by any method but check. Players who deposited recently either spent extra money to be paid or have to wait for Neteller and B2B to be funded.

It sounds like they are getting back on track before football. They plan to be able to do b2b transfers and Neteller again next week. If not, they can remove them from the website on week 3. They are also about to start doing Omega transfers. Hopefully we can bump them back up shortly but having players coming in via Neteller knowing they may not be able to withdraw as advertised isnt B+ material.

yes exactly
plus Moneybookers also vanished from their website and at signup players were told to get free MB payouts /NT are 15 USD each, 2500 max/... small players are also not happy with this
they need little more planning

Yes, a lot of players consider them a must because they actually hang their own numbers, especially on the dimelines.

Thanks Bill.

What's the deal with Omega? I was looking at their website yesterday. Doesn't look terribly professional?

I don't think Jazz has actually sent one yet.

I don't know much about them and either do the books. I hear they are former sportsbook people. I tried to call a few times and it tells me I am first in line in the que but I either get hung up on or it just rings continuously.

You obviously have to be careful keeping money in the middle men. Even Neteller, when they first started were just a bunch of people in a house in CR. That said, I wouldn't have much of a problem as a user to pass through to my book.

These days if you have good banking contacts your site can look like something done in MS Paint and you will get business. (Where the hell is the withdrawal info on this site?)

My guess is Omega uses a network of people from many banks around the world (including the US), WU and MG offices and probably a variety of ACH POSs. They are doing what the books have to do in getting a million little processors and agent offices lined up trying to keep them in rotation. It is probably easier to match volume up this way and less volatility in processing time.

Exactly, they are one of the few books that do not copy their lines from the big 3.
And definetaly B+ (or even better) for me, if that payout problem is solved.

I didnīt write SBR personally, but i was one of the posters here that complained about Jazz not paying out via Neteller..and itīs good to see that SBR takes such things serious.

Love this site, keep up the good work

Bodog was downgraded. They are on track now. Of course its the slow season so they should be. We will wait on an upgrade for Bodog until we see how they handle payouts when the peak season kicks in.
