Default Oddsmaker --- HELP!

I am curious about oddsmaker.com, I am decieding whether I should deposit money into there site..I do have some questions, for those who know the answers, please help!

1.) Are they reliable?
2.) Do they have any association with sportsbook.com, etc?
3.) Do they have fast payouts?
4.) Anyone else use them?

You can go to the word "Search" on the Nav bar above and click on it. A box will appear. Type in Oddsmaker.com and you can actually see every player comment ever made about them. Or you can save the trouble and find a decent book.

Here are the reports on Oddsmaker from SBR
http://www.sportsbookreview.com/SR.aspx?s=oddsmaker.com

Here are the forum posts related to Oddsmaker by the forum posters.
http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Forum/Oddsmaker.aspx

I would suggest researching them a little first. If you are still comfortable sending them money then at least you know the risks.

I must do this for THeNutz and Poker_eon. Two Futurebet sites. I'm suprise that I haven't read anything about either one of these sites.

Before this post bumped the thread to the top of the forum it was between two other no-pay Futurebet complaint threads, TheNutz and Vegas24.

Default Stay Away

Oddsmaker.com changed it rules for Parlay wagers.
The site no longer allows for a Parlay of two or more teams that combine the Favorite with the Over.
The site no longer allows for a Parlay that combine the Underdog with the under.
I am not talking moneyline, I am referring to any game that has a point spread and a over-under line. There is no mention of this change in the Wagering menu on this site.

Also, I have called 4 times over the last two days and they refuse to let me speak to a Manager.

How do I get a refund from my deposit?

Yes, and both TheNutz and Poker_Eon are still not answering my emails let alone paying me my money.

well, I mentioned this very issue on the "sportsbook.com withdrawal delay" thread several times...but here we go again for those of you who might have missed it...I have an account with oddsmaker.com and was fortunate enough to win over $6,500 this summer playing baseball totals...I requested two different withdrawals on my winnings and in each case, my check arrived at my doorstep within two weeks via fed ex courier method!..that's right, 15 days from when I requested my payout! Not too bad for a supposedly "D-" or "F+" book that gets constantly slandered and slammed on this forum , is it?!!...What gets me though, is how in the hell does Bodog retain their "A-" rating as a "superior" book when they have slow payout issues as well?!!.. why does oddsmaker still get crucified as being a slow pay book but yet bodog gets a pass for the same exact issues/reasons?!... we all know the answer to that...sponsorship and shills...money talks and bull walks...We all must bow down to the almighty dollar!! But seriously, I'm just surprised that a reputable website that grades offshores books would have such double standards and hypocrisy when It comes to grading books...One final point, it should be noted that oddsmaker hasn't stiffed one player yet that I know of...and I will say this for 100% certainty: After waiting damn near 3 months for sportsbook.com to finally pay me, the two weeks seems lighting fast to me!...btw, you are allowed one free payout per calender month....god bless all!

Good point, why is Bodog still highly rated?

Bodog is a good book. Did you see their lines this past Saturday? Great value. Bodog has been around for many years and has never stiffed. Oddsmaker's ownership has a very long history of stiffing players hence the difference of the rating between the two.

Actually Bodog is not a sponsor here but they should be. Oddsmaker is not allowed to be a sponsor here because they have a long and documented history of ripping off players. You might have been paid this time but with this group the music will stop and there wont be any chairs.

What matters even worse about Oddsmaker is that there part of the FutureBet family of books, and that right there should tell you that your basically playing Russian roulette when trying to cash out from anyone of there books.

Ok thanks for the quick response

For why Oddsmaker is rated D- view this page for BetOnUSA.

Start at this 2/27 report and read backwards down to the deleted balances, free money accounts and the poker room that disappeared.

2/27/2007 10:35 AM
Oddsmaker (SBR rating D-)
new sportsbook from former ownership of betonusa (SBR rating D-). betonusa sold it’s family of sites to Jazette Enterprises Limited (Sportsbook.com Group) in December of 2006. betonusa is most known for giving players a free $50 account and then denying payouts to the few who are lucky enough to build their balance up to the $1,000 minimum required to withdraw.

SBR John and Bill Dozer,
I'm just saying that oddsmaker did indeed pay me and in a very prompt manner may I add...I just threw my two cents in for what its worth...Still, you didn't refute anything I said about bodog...as far as I am concerned, an "A" book doesn't take 2-3 months to pay out...This is totally inexcusable...No and's, if's or but's about it...End of story, End of discussion...Isn't that the very reason why sportsbook.com got punished and downgraded to a D+ rating??...because of their "processing" issues and slow payouts this past summer?!...but yet bodog doesn't get penalized for the same exact infraction?!!...yeah, I know, they have good lines!!..LOL!!...damn John, you are really grasping for straws on that one!...Getting back to the point, you keep saying oddsmaker rips players off...do you any proof of no pay?!!!...once again, no pay not slow pay...And I'm specifically talking about oddsmaker, not one of the sister sites or future bet families...the answer is no....but if you do have tangible evidence, then please enlighten me and let me see where players have been "screwed" and post it on this messageboard...I'm not saying this to be facetious, I just want concrete evidence of someone getting stiffed...(and I'm not talking about porno's).....John and Bill, you two guys seem very credible, did you mention any of this to the Shrink?!...He endorses them as well and is reputable man himself...I'd love to be a fly on the wall listening in on the conversation with the three of you guys in the same room!....So who is telling the truth?!!...anyhow, it doesn't really matter...i'm just letting people on this forum know that I did get paid by them and in a very prompt manner and IMHO, they are no where near the shady book that you guys make them out to be.
