You can go to the word "Search" on the Nav bar above and click on it. A box will appear. Type in Oddsmaker.com and you can actually see every player comment ever made about them. Or you can save the trouble and find a decent book.

Here are the reports on Oddsmaker from SBR
http://www.sportsbookreview.com/SR.aspx?s=oddsmaker.com

Here are the forum posts related to Oddsmaker by the forum posters.
http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Forum/Oddsmaker.aspx

I would suggest researching them a little first. If you are still comfortable sending them money then at least you know the risks.

I must do this for THeNutz and Poker_eon. Two Futurebet sites. I'm suprise that I haven't read anything about either one of these sites.

Before this post bumped the thread to the top of the forum it was between two other no-pay Futurebet complaint threads, TheNutz and Vegas24.

Default Stay Away

Oddsmaker.com changed it rules for Parlay wagers.
The site no longer allows for a Parlay of two or more teams that combine the Favorite with the Over.
The site no longer allows for a Parlay that combine the Underdog with the under.
I am not talking moneyline, I am referring to any game that has a point spread and a over-under line. There is no mention of this change in the Wagering menu on this site.

Also, I have called 4 times over the last two days and they refuse to let me speak to a Manager.

How do I get a refund from my deposit?

Yes, and both TheNutz and Poker_Eon are still not answering my emails let alone paying me my money.

well, I mentioned this very issue on the "sportsbook.com withdrawal delay" thread several times...but here we go again for those of you who might have missed it...I have an account with oddsmaker.com and was fortunate enough to win over $6,500 this summer playing baseball totals...I requested two different withdrawals on my winnings and in each case, my check arrived at my doorstep within two weeks via fed ex courier method!..that's right, 15 days from when I requested my payout! Not too bad for a supposedly "D-" or "F+" book that gets constantly slandered and slammed on this forum , is it?!!...What gets me though, is how in the hell does Bodog retain their "A-" rating as a "superior" book when they have slow payout issues as well?!!.. why does oddsmaker still get crucified as being a slow pay book but yet bodog gets a pass for the same exact issues/reasons?!... we all know the answer to that...sponsorship and shills...money talks and bullshit walks...We all must bow down to the almighty dollar!! But seriously, I'm just surprised that a reputable website that grades offshores books would have such double standards and hypocrisy when It comes to grading books...One final point, it should be noted that oddsmaker hasn't stiffed one player yet that I know of...and I will say this for 100% certainty: After waiting damn near 3 months for sportsbook.com to finally pay me, the two weeks seems lighting fast to me!...btw, you are allowed one free payout per calender month....god bless all!

Bodog is a good book. Did you see their lines this past Saturday? Great value. Bodog has been around for many years and has never stiffed. Oddsmaker's ownership has a very long history of stiffing players hence the difference of the rating between the two.

Actually Bodog is not a sponsor here but they should be. Oddsmaker is not allowed to be a sponsor here because they have a long and documented history of ripping off players. You might have been paid this time but with this group the music will stop and there wont be any chairs.

What matters even worse about Oddsmaker is that there part of the FutureBet family of books, and that right there should tell you that your basically playing Russian roulette when trying to cash out from anyone of there books.

For why Oddsmaker is rated D- view this page for BetOnUSA.

Start at this 2/27 report and read backwards down to the deleted balances, free money accounts and the poker room that disappeared.

2/27/2007 10:35 AM
Oddsmaker (SBR rating D-)
new sportsbook from former ownership of betonusa (SBR rating D-). betonusa sold it’s family of sites to Jazette Enterprises Limited (Sportsbook.com Group) in December of 2006. betonusa is most known for giving players a free $50 account and then denying payouts to the few who are lucky enough to build their balance up to the $1,000 minimum required to withdraw.

SBR John and Bill Dozer,
I'm just saying that oddsmaker did indeed pay me and in a very prompt manner may I add...I just threw my two cents in for what its worth...Still, you didn't refute anything I said about bodog...as far as I am concerned, an "A" book doesn't take 2-3 months to pay out...This is totally inexcusable...No and's, if's or but's about it...End of story, End of discussion...Isn't that the very reason why sportsbook.com got punished and downgraded to a D+ rating??...because of their "processing" issues and slow payouts this past summer?!...but yet bodog doesn't get penalized for the same exact infraction?!!...yeah, I know, they have good lines!!..LOL!!...damn John, you are really grasping for straws on that one!...Getting back to the point, you keep saying oddsmaker rips players off...do you any proof of no pay?!!!...once again, no pay not slow pay...And I'm specifically talking about oddsmaker, not one of the sister sites or future bet families...the answer is no....but if you do have tangible evidence, then please enlighten me and let me see where players have been "screwed" and post it on this messageboard...I'm not saying this to be facetious, I just want concrete evidence of someone getting stiffed...(and I'm not talking about porno's).....John and Bill, you two guys seem very credible, did you mention any of this to the Shrink?!...He endorses them as well and is reputable man himself...I'd love to be a fly on the wall listening in on the conversation with the three of you guys in the same room!....So who is telling the truth?!!...anyhow, it doesn't really matter...i'm just letting people on this forum know that I did get paid by them and in a very prompt manner and IMHO, they are no where near the shady book that you guys make them out to be.

I got paid from oddstaker...errr oddsmaker.com. But NOT for winning, its called a chargeback.

Why in the world would you consider playing a sportsbook that does not allow two team or more parlays?

Keep your money out and read my statement above.

DaMan, actually if you check the upgrade/downgrade history you will see that Sportsbook.com was never downgraded because of processing despite the hundreds of calls to do so.

I'm fine with your opinions and if you got paid by a book where we have a dozen players waiting to get paid for years then lucky you!

Good luck with them.

Concrete evidence is in the link above. If all books need to do is change their name before you give them a clean bill of health it won't be long before you are a victim too.

joe vegas,
what in the hell are you talking about?!!...you can so do parlays at oddsmaker.com...did I understand your post right?!...as a matter of fact, it's how I won most of money...by doing 3 and 4 team parlays on baseball totals...I'm not exactly sure what happened in your case...care to elaborate?!

Hi Bill,
I'm just saying that they payed me...Maybe it was indeed coincidence or maybe I was indeed very fortunate...either way, I'm not complaining..Like I said before, show me someone that has gotten stiffed and post it on here...I know there have been numerous complaints about slow payouts, but then again that's been the case with a lot of books during the last 6 months or so even by some so-called "A" books!..btw, have you had any conversations with Shrink on EOG?!

It's very possible he did get paid nicely. BetOnUSA was more known for cheating and unethical practices than it was for stalling payouts.

They had a rule in their live betting platform that if you bet after the snap they would not only void your win but delete your entire balance and they did it. 5 figure sums... gone. Their excuse was that the player won more because of the tv delay and that was cheating.

Anyone get the mail offer for the free $50? If you were lucky enough to spend a month working it up to the required $1200 before cashing out there was a good chance you wasted you time and bets that you would have place elsewhere.

Now they are relying on a company that is stiffing its employees, lost its stake in its poker room and facilitates stiffing players with the "partner" sites.

Pico,
I'm not working for oddsmaker, why would I be?!..I've been on these forums a while and on EOG...I just responded to the thread that the original poster was inquiring if oddsmaker paid out or not, and I simply told them that they did...I do consider my fortunate seeing how they are getting tarred and feathered by these forums and other websites that grade offshore books...anyhow, that's all theres to it...nothing more, nothing less...I'm just a fellow degenarate gambler like 90% of this board sharing my experience(s) with various books....Beleive me, if i get stiffed or screwed by oddsmaker or any other book for that matter, this board and forum will be the first to know about it and I will certainly let Bill and John know about it.

Default Oddsmaker and Bodog

Damonster, it is great that they paid you, but one person's experience is not a big enough sample size to reach conclusions concerning a book's reputation.

Fortunately, SBR has a big enough sample size of bettors asking for withdrawals from this outfit, and the conclusion to stay away makes a lot of sense.

All the books are "slow paying" compared to the neteller days.

I personally don't like Bodog, and their dual line crap, but they are financially healthy and have paid everyone they owed.

The sad history of my (short) poker life in Oddsmaker:

I receive 50 free dollars after playing several hours I was able to make a 50.40 dollars profit, hard earn money (coming from other players). Then I receive another mail from this, apparently, nice guys, another promotion 20% bonus plus 25$ for the first deposit. So I deposit my 1000$, and get…nothing!!! Not the bonus, not the 25… but that’s nothing my 50 initial dollars where gone as well as my 50.40 profit!!!!!!!! Unbelievable. Money coming from other players!!! I place 4th in a 41 people tournament, tough players, we’re out of the money and now Oddsmaker take that money, stealing not only me but also the other players in the tournament.

After calling servise support I got the 20% bonus and the 25$ free money, totally worthless, for every 100 bet you place, 96.6% come from your money and 3.4 from the “free money”.

Now I’m just waiting for my 1000$ refund, they can keep their free money, even the 50$, but they stole 50.4 $ from the players… never forget that!
