wish i had higher limits. never had a problem. limits lowered b4 football season. seems like others have had problems. lines make for easy money.

they are just banning everyone to keep profits healthy and thus paying everyone without a problem

That is clearly "4 losers only" book but somewhat honest. They will throw you out after about 20k but usually the do pay you.

They have come a long way from the activity that put them on the blacklist over 5 years ago and have bounced around the C range since. They are at the highest rating so far at C+. They spend the needed time on disputes and have made changes to their policies and rule with SBR's help. They are in the right direction and it could be a big year for the last outfit taking bets in Canada.

Do you know anyone that was robbed? That wasn't playing with multiple accounts?

I've looked at a slew of complaints, and they have paid every player or proven their case. I'd have no trouble keeping my own money there. I expect SIA's rating will creep up a bit further in time.

They recently booted me and paid out mid-five figures no problem. They actually paid me faster than I wanted them to!

I'm actually up over 20k there lifetime and THEY HAVE NOT BANNED ME................a few years ago my friend said they showed him the door at the 30k level............others have stated they have been booted at the 10k level.

From what I can gather, some are put on the 10k threshhold and others the 30k threshhold............and it may have something to do with the type of wagers they make, are playing honestly, playing in the casino or not, etc., etc..................not sure.

Anyway, I know I only have few more wins in me there............and haven't been with them for 3 years.

    Thanks for the replies.

By the way, NEVER had a problem with them in the past.

I recently got booted at a little over 20K. I'm still waiting on two more checks to complete full payment, but I have no reason to believe that I won't be getting paid. SIA has been completely on the up and up in dealing with me and in paying me.

I was always under the impression they only do periodic audits and at that time, anyone over the threshold gets booted.

i just can't understand why anyone would stop betting at this book until they boot you.

    unless you don't like money.

and then when that happens we all have at least 1 good friend that we can trust.

I personally know one person who they robbed with thousand of dollars and they used dirty tactics like threatening him and HIS FAMILY to prevent him from making an issue out of it... he chickened out and didn't get his money at the end.

About "multiple accounts" - half the people on this forum are using multiple IDs... as long as it is with the full consent of a legit person... I don't see anything illegal or immoral about it... any person who is not very computer literate can ask his friend to bet on his behalf... I cannot see anything wrong with that.

    they are a bad bunch.

Be careful, if they catch u with using a friend's name that is exactly when they rob you... read this forum and you will find more than one of these stories on this fourm... and very recent stories too.

Good post............although the second part can be considered a tad "shady".............but in a way, it isn't.

I wish I got to 20K, I wouldn't feel that bad about not being able to play. I wasn't even at 10K before I got limited and a week later got the boot.

They do look what type of wagers are you making . If you bet props all the time there is a chance that you get booted sooner. Mainly because you will be selected out quicker. One that makes straight bets only may last longer. Then again one that constantly beats book on straight bets is probably the smartest one and therefore the most dangerous as a "SHARP PLAYER" - their worst nightmare
In the other hand it is certain that they do checks with time intervals and when they find you then you get kicked out. Though it is damn easy to make system to produce report of these players every morning as an "execution list". Ether way- it is worth to jump in and take them for 20 large in my opinion. If you can of course. I wonder what happens if you jump in with no bonus with $300 and hit 8 team parlay that pays $45 grand. Then what?

It is amazing how everyone is judging the book based on their own experience - i.e. "They paid me therefore they are an honest book"

They stiffed players in the past and they will stiff players in the future, it is only a matter of time.

I know with high level of certainty that SBR rated them C+ as part of a deal to settle some players who they stiffed and agreed to pay at the end, but there are some players who were not settled because they couldn't pull a fight and did not get paid.

SIA are a bad bunch and it is not a matter of whether they are going to stiff someone but who and when they are going to do it... it is only a matter of time... 6 days, 6 weeks or 6 months or even 2 years ... I m convinced it will happen again as it is part of their culture.

They have some bizarre policies, at one point they denied me a withdrawal for a week because I'd played a little bit of poker to check out their poker room and they said they had a policy of a 7 day hold when you play poker. This means that anyone who plays poker there needs to take a week break just to get a payout! The most ridiculous thing was that my balance at the time was some mid-4 figure amount and I was only playing some low stakes game like 3-6 or 5-10 limit Hold'em, so the amount I won or lost in the poker room was probably only a small portion of my entire balance, but they put a hold on my entire balance.

I just checked back through old emails and it was actually a 4 day hold, not a 7 day hold, but the point still stands--anyone that plays poker there has to take a 4 day break if they want a payout, unless their policy has changed since then.

I think that after an ugly saga a few months ago with confiscating clients money, they will behave for a little while now as they are being watched very closely by the SBR team... one move out of line and they are back to D... so I don't think that they want a repeat of such drama ... but people's memory is short and I m sure that they will be back to their old ways sooner or later.
