Phoenix called me once or twice a week for about a month after I signed up, but never deposited. It seems to have stopped, though. I have an account manager, but it wasn't always him calling. They must not have a problem trying to steal each other's customers. It's a cutthroat biz.

I have found Sportsbook.com to be an offender here.

I don't answer simple, but I think this post is worth to let posters know which books call you

I find it completely out of line to call, an email is more than good enough. Pinnacle and WilliamHill are the only 2 places Ive deposited and they have never called me. I have not deposited at places I know who might call.

Go to k7.net (or another site like it; there's a few) Get a free phone number. It'll e-mail you if/win someone leaves you a voicemail. This way you aren't actually giving fraudulant information. The phoen number is assigned to you, you just don't check it often, and it isn't hooked up to a physical phone. I haven't actually tried this with a book so I don't know if it actually works, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

why is it so hard to tell them to not call. One call ain't gonna kill ya.

you guys are in the huge minority complaining about books calling you. No one cares but 1 out of 100 (at the most).

some of you guys are whiners.

What's the next thread gonna be? Too many commercials during a basketball game and how I won't watch a game on TV anymore.

Put up with a lousy phone call and if you don't want to be called, tell them.

Wow that was hard! (that's what she said)

When I get calls from Will at BP...my cell shows he is calling
from a local area code....and sometimes it shows he is
calling from a 1-866 number...so i dont know what gives...

The vast majority of the calls I've gotten from BetPhoenix have been before 8am. You think it's appropriate to get phone calls at that early of an hour? Get real.

They ignore you and keep calling, esp. Bookmaker.

I think 90% dislike the calls

I personally like it when books call me, a chance to play "let's make a deal".

But if you don't, I would just tell them you don't gamble any more, you joined GA and are on a 12 step program, and please cancel you account immediately. From there, just play with books that don't call, there are a ton that don't.

I ask every single book I sign up with about 3 things:

    1. Deposits & Withdrawals
    2. Phone Calls
    3. Snail Mail Policy

I tell the agent the call is being recorded.

Amusingly enough, I emailed the guy who calls me once a week from BP a simple question and never got a reply, so I had to spend a significant amount of time in live chat (I think almost a half hour) to get my question answered. Meanwhile, a book like the Greek has literally never once called me in many many years of using them, and I think I've always gotten an email reply from support within the hour, provided the email is sent during business hours. The latter is the service of an great book, the former is not.
