BetClic - money lost in the air...
Hi!
I made a deposit to betclic a week ago but the money never appeared on my account. The costumer service said they will rule it out but it never happened. And they aren't answering my e-mails for days now...
I also sent a complaint to sbr.

How did you make the deposit? I ask because I had a similar issue with Betclic
It turned out that the Betclic system tried to debit my Neteller account, twice. The first was succesful, the second time was declined. I did get it resolved with them, however.

I made it by moneybookers. They got the money from my moneybookers account, that transaction is gone through.
Even if they would try to debit my account twice, i had enough money for that.

Give them the transaction number and tell them to verify with moneybookers. Hope it works out for you. BetClic is a good book and they have always responded to any questions I have raised with them.

I contacted them (both the Hungarian and the English support), no luck. English support wrote this 5 or 6 days ago: "We would like to inform you we have sent your question regarding your Moneybookers deposit to the relevant department."
Nothing happened since then.

Have you tried to contact Moneybookers? They are notoriously slow with this type of thing unless you are part of their VIP programme.

That's crap!
They try and profile themselves a lot with sponsoring of the African Cup for instance, so they don't need bad publicity.
(Didn't they buy Expekt and bet-at-home?)
I'm sure you'll get your money.
How?
I don't know, but I'm sure it'll work out.

I'm not so sure. They are just ignoring me for more than a week now. Also i sent a complaint to sbr but they didn't contact me.
No reason to be optimistic.

I won't call them, my English is not that good, i don't like to talk on phone. I wrote them a last e-mail that i will put up advertisements about this in nationwide newspapers if they won't solve the problem next week. If they won't, well, i think they will lose more money than me.

Congrats.
Looks like it took a while .
Similar story happened to me too waited 2 months my deposit was via bank draft
with other book .
In your case shame on them (betclic) case your deposit was via MB and it shouldn't take this long to pull all the records .

I'm sorry to say, but why the hell do you want to deposit €1000 / 2000 into a Betclick account?
First of all they're a Malta-regulated bookie. Malta is not known to be the best regulators in the world. Further more if you had looked any further, you'd found out that Betclick is a bookie who gives limitations very easily. After a dozen bets I can stake a maximum of €5 per bet.

If you look closely, if you are not in the UK and play at Betfair you are doing so under Maltese regulations. I agree that it is not the best jurisdiction but as with everything, it is a calculated risk.
All European books will impose limits on you and of the two basic approaches to maximising "return", hitting hard and fast is usually the best in cases where a book hangs stale lines in the way that BetClic does.

I don't see any other topic on betclick so i'll write it here.
So, be careful with this bookmaker. My friend just made an MLB bet (under/over line) of 200 euros on odds a bit better compared to other bookies and the bet won, but was cancelled. They said it was their "mistake" even though the line was just a bit better than everywhere else... Not a very good sign.

i believe that from my own experience. i recall making a bet on champs league qualifier (maybe 50-70 eur or so, not more), b/c it was slightly better than pinny odds. like 3.52 vs 3.48. next day line moves, and they send email that my bet is cancelled. i think it would never happen with pinnacle. (side note: has pinny ever voided a bet citing bad line? anyone?)
to betclic credit, they sent email before the event to inform me of cancellation. however i made mental note to be careful making bets there.

Betclic odds are always under market prices, so if you see a price to high forget about it.
Who bets MLB with them?
