I am new to this site, but not new to the sportsbook world. I have been using betus as my normal bookie until I came across this site and noticed it had a D+ rating. I withdrew everything out of betus and started using 5Dimes because of its A+ rating "on this site". I must say that I had no problems whatsoever with getting my money out of betus.com. Sucks that I had to pay a $40 withdrawal fee, but it did arrive in 3 days via fedex!

My deal with 5 Dimes is that they advertise that you can use PDA's to access your account. No where does it state, "Except Blackberry" I find this out by attempting to log on with my BB and enter my username and password and it keeps telling me invalid username / password combo. I then contact customer service and talk with them about it and all they tell me is that it just doesn't work? WTH? Betus.com does fine on my Blackberry. When I see something rated A+ I think that it can't be any better than it is, so this is why I swapped over to 5 Dimes. Anyone else have this issue with other books with an A+ rating?

I dont really think the site not working with BB would qualify as a lower rating. Bottomline i would trust 5dimes with my cash over betus any day of the week

You can access 5 dimes from you're BB when you go to the. Website at the top it says wireless /pda users click it it then will ask you for you're use and password it will take you to you're account all this stuf loads slow and I have. Bb storm. Donate 6 sir points

I have a BB Storm and I would never use 5D on my phone. Too slow and the interface is awful. Takes me about 15 minutes to place one wager and have missed getting bets in before. iPhone and G1 users have much better success, the browser renders the page better. I always ask my friends if I can borrow their phone to wager, very embarrassing let me tell you.


Still, 5D is an A+ book. I do wish they would improve mobile support, and that goes for all online sportsbooks like The Greek, Bookmaker, etc.

You should just be thankful you got your money from BetUs in such a quick timeframe, they mostly give ya the run around

I had this same problem when I got a new blackberry. The workaround that I found was to download Opera Mini and use the 5dimes.tv site. It's a little slower than a typical mobile site, but it gets the job done.

so far the best pda book is betcris and the betting app;; it is far superior to logging in to these cramped mobile betting sites;; also bookmaker has iphone app ;; maybe they have bb too

5dimes still uses ASP classic! Microsoft doesn't even support that outdated language anymore.. at least upgrade to ASP.NET or use PHP.

but its a classic.....

there are many good reasons to use 5dimes. but this all is an argument to use something else aswell.
