Default BetPhoenix ceases transfers to/from Matchbook.

This situation would be an entertaining soap opera if the luxury of me having food/shelter wasn't hanging in the balance.

I'm heading to Burger King to fill out an app...

No, BP has no trouble getting them money. In fact they completed a transfer to MB for me earlier today (their last one?). MB's balance sheet is rotten so I assume BP is uncomfortable increasing their MB liability in case the music stops.

If Betphoenix is creating an exchange then it would be in their interest that Matchbook went under.

And stopping transfers with them at a time when all this speculation is going on, is certainly not going to help Matchbook.

All I know is whenever I've requested any transfer to or from Matchbook there's never been a delay or problem on their end.

The same cannot be said for BP.

I wonder if this has anything to do with them having an exchange now

People are scared shitless about Matchbook, but as of today there have been 0 slowpay reports. I know WSEX situation is not great, but MB has paid right on time without exception so far.

Bookmaker has an exchange? I've never seen that advertised on their site. Do I need to sign up & log in to see this or do they have a different address for the exchange?

Oh ok, i didn't know they were in the same family.

Their commissions are terrible compared to Matchbook so that would probably be why.

  22. #22

    Default

Their fees are high and they have limited withdrawl options.

  23. #23

BetPhoenix told me they accept and receive transfers from BetFirstClass. That's all I needed to know to decide not to play with them

  24. #24

Betmaker's commission structure is a little too complicated and way too high. The discount for volume makes good sense, however, the commission is way too high.

If their commission was comparable to Matchbook, they'd own the market and make fortune. Then build on the model, offer parlays, props and other stuff.

BetPhoenix is now doing transfers with Youwager, and they plan to add others. So BP dropping MB from their transfer list tells me that they no longer trust MB's viability.

Matchbook still transfers with bookmaker, greek, and pinny. And at least as of this week, those transfers are happening very fast.

maybe this is simply b/c phoenix is more interested in associating themselves w/ BFC and youwager type of players instead of match/cris type of players.. doesn't bode well for the pros either way tho

MB used to transfer with all the Cris Books, but now won't do so with DSI. Curious as what transpired between DSI and MB--which one decided to end the relationship?

I believe I read somewhere that DSI and Phoenix have some common ownership...

I would say Phoenix without question. Matchbook's risk and overhead is nothing compared to Phoenix. One company lets you make 20k withdrawal via Neteller per 7 days. And no max on book to book transfers. The other company only lets the majority of it's players withdrawal 4k per 7 days by any method. Where would you rather have your money?
