The Greek - makes you pay
The Greek nickel and dimes the customers like crazy, almost every withdrawal option you have to pay a fee, and people are complaining about Bookmaker. Didn't they have 1 payout a month for free, like Pinnacle, BetPhoenix, BetJam or like 5 Dimes have. So really what does The Greek have advantages over others, for such a high price?

requested a fedex on monday morning from the greek, got it yesterday morning,i will gladly pay $35 for that kind of service. in this day and age when most books have no clue on how to get their customers paid on time,i think $35 for a check that arrives in 24 hours is fantastic

you can have a free withdraw if you didnt make a previous withdraw in previous 14days and if you made multiple bets in last month. but i realy think they should have a free withdraw a month

Really, you got paid by check in less than 24 hours.
I think most places if you request a payout by check its 2 to 4 days.

You are looking for advantages? Rock solid, never any slow pays. Good software. And of course lots of early props.
These books have tons of costs moving in and out money. A lot of the books protect players from these fees, but the trend in the industry now is to make players pay part of these banking charges.

raven, I don't know what your average bet amount is...but you can't afford to pay $35 fee for payout??? If you are small time player and only withdraw couple hundreds at a time, thegreek is definitely not for you. And as you mentioned, there are other books like pinny, betjam, 5dimes, and etc..... why don't you go play there if you are not already and stop complaining about this fee thegreek charges??

good software? you have to be kidding right, the design is horrible.
Players pay part of these banking charges? I noticed this as well any Island/Costa Rica books make you pay fees. Only the Euro books I know of don't make you pay fees. Hell Euro book's bank Wires are for free compared to the Island books that MIN charge are like $55 and it all depends how much you cash out.

Thats not the point, trust me I can afford $35 fee....but why charge a fee when other books have it for free....thats my point.

Why do you have Bet Phoenix highlighted?Yes they offer a free check, try it,you'll wished you paid the $35.I have been waiting 3 weeks for my free check,if I'd known this shit I'd of paid $100 for a **.BetJam does what they say,1 day,2 at most.

I have NEVER had to pay for a payout. Granted I do most of my wagering in real books, in Las Vegas, instead of pretendland, but even when I do have to make a wager off shore, I would never pay to get what is owed to me. This is just another way they rip you off. Everyone is so hyped about bonuses and all of that crap, that they are totally blinded by what these books really do to you. A total joke.

the greek is very cheeky with their withdrawal fees, the rules are very unclear (comparing to pinnacle etc for example), but a good thing is they will negotiate with you

Come on, MY money pays them interest so they really have no reason to charge my withdrawals only because I didn't play enough bets. I would understand a policy only to allow one free withdrawal per month to avoid too many costs for them, but to charge for inactivity is inacceptable (at least for me - therefore I stopped to use them since quite some months).
The other question is of course why Greek accounts tend to be inactive so often - couldn't it be the mediocre odds compared to Pinnacle, asian books and betting exchnges...?
Another joke is that they would not charge me in case I played three 5 Euro bets per week, but charge me if I play one or two 3000 Euro bets per week (so only the number of bets counts not the amount of money). :-)
