Default POLL...Where do you feel you money is more safe at this time?

    BetPhoenix or MATCHBOOK

Both are doing erratic things which does not inspire confidence.
I would not maintain a substantial proportion of my bankroll in either of them.

My hope would be that a more proactive and responsive owner takes over MB so that it could deliver its true potential.

As a European, my days at BetPhoenix appear to be coming to an end, what makes it funny it that I have lost over 60% of the bets I have made there.

Dunder I feel very very safe with my money at BetPhoenix and BetMania but I am just pissed with all the phone trouble they are having every day. Sometimes they cant hear you and other times the phones are down alltogether.

NICKY SANTARO has lost tons there...........

Personally, I'm down just a smidge at BP.

At this stage it is not a security issue, but they have imposed a USD 500 limit on me because I am not North American.

I will still have the odd play there but it is probably only a matter of time before they take my -105 lines away and then I am done.

I anticipated this being somewhat of a close race..........however, MB is off to a very quick lead.

I have no reason to be concerned about either of them - never had a withdrawal problem with either.

I'd rate Matchbook slightly higher, though, since they seem to be a better run operation overall.

BP only seems broke. MB actually is.

Wow, I'm surprised to see Matchy losing. According to other threads, Matchy is denying some deposits. I can't decide whether this is a good sign (they don't have any financial problems and they're aggressively trying to avoid pass-throughs) or a bad sign (they're retarded and will soon run their operation into the ground).

Have they ever had a representative here like some of the other books?

That's cos you're beating them not cos of where you're from.

I'm from Australia no limits as of yet.

I am break even with the at this stage I think.

Alas that is not the case good Dr.

I have used BP lines primarily to reduce my exposure to Betfair Premium Charge in some of the markets that I have traded/made the market. In this sense I have been lucky to have had in excess of 60% losers at BP to date.

Bet Phoenix announced that the USD 500 limit would apply to all non-North Americans and it was confirmed by phone that this would be the case for me, even though my account has been profitable for them and I am not, for the most part, trying to hit their stale lines.

    Great thread, FH !

Both have dropped a lot ( IMO) recently.

I'll vote MB, but that is sort of a "homer" pick.

It's tough to lose no matter how bad you book; take for example, Every Book There Is. It's almost impossible to win if you have bad agents, e.g. Cascade, Matchbook. As of now, there is plenty of evidence at BP of the former, but none of the latter.

Matchbook. They are a business anyone with a bit of knowledge would love to buy out. If off-shore was legal they would sell for a mint
