My friend signed up with them years ago just for the purpose of using their live streams, he wasn't into betting at that time. At least not online. Anyway, about 8 months after he signed up, he received SNAIL mail from those bastards, which was a PROMOTION.

Now this guy still lives with his parents, and let's say his folks weren't so happy about that. I don't think that if he was married his wife would be happy either.

In late DEC 2009 he came to me and told me has an urge to play, said he had an account with Bet365 but is afraid he'll receive any (snail) mail from them. He's not so good with English so we sat together and opened a live-chat window.

Anyway, the FIRST THING we requested was that he gets NO more snail mail. They said it won't happen again. After that, when we asked about deposits, they said they're gonna need to send a confirmation code to his address, when we asked which address? they said his home address. SNAIL MAIL!

Anyway, I ended up telling that stupid lady to CLOSE the account, and respect his privacy and NEVER send him snail mail again.

He called me today, very angry, saying that Bet365 sent him a "confirmation code" request, AGAIN.

Not only did they not close his account per his request, they also "punished" him for requesting a closure, and sent him a confirmation code for an account he no longer wishes to hold.

Don't play at Bet365.

This has nothing to do with a set of balls. This is about the principles of privacy.

If I don't want my wife/kids/parents to know about what I do with my money, it's only their interest but their JOB to ensure they don't, at least not through the book itself. Especially since he requested not to get snail mail no less than 3 times.

I don´t know exactly what you mean John,

But I know Bet365 always was a shit book supported by SBR with a A+ rating.

Nowadys maybe they don´t want to pay SBR

Bet $3.65 always send their PVC/promotion stuffs in a white envelope, without any info, just the adress of the sender (without company name), and the receiver of course. Or the parents requested the son to open the letter and read it front of them?

They were an A+ bookie here, even they were on the SBR recommended list , (I never understood why, they've always been a big crap bookie), but after that bet $3.65 had to leave the american market, they disappeared from the recommended list (surely happenstance)

I have always rated Bet365 as one of the best bookies. They offer great bonuses, they pay fast and I have never had any problem with them.

If memory serves me, this is how Bet3.65 rolls.

Some book, and it may have been Bet3.65, sent stuff out of Montreal with the unique postmarks. This might raise questions in the wrong household.

You are probably getting other promotions, from all kinds of businesses.

For example, around here it is common to receive snail mail invitations to dinners where they try to sell you supermatresses, kitchen slicers, amazing slippers and similar crap.
Then you pick it up in your mailbox, or anyone who checks the mail, you see what it's about, shrug your shoulders and throw it away.

You can always behave the same with these.

All in all, I do not see the problem with telling anyone how "these are just commercials I get occasionally".

OR, do as the fellows here told you and grow a pair. I prefer the latter, but the former should work fine.
