I would strongly advise anyone thinking of depositing at Sports-1 not to bother.

I have been trying to get a payout from these guys since before Xmas and have been continuously fobbed off with reports of "a pending wire to our account." Nobody can tell me when I will be paid or give me a reason for the delay. Indeed, not only can nobody give me any useful information, the CS reps are also brusque to the point of rudeness.

To exacerbate my concern, I logged on today and found that my limits had been reduced to $100. I presumed this was just because I had been blacklisted for having the temerity to ask for a payout but, upon asking CS, was informed that the house limits had been set to $100 for everyone according to a senior management directive.

So, no payouts, and house limits of $100. Might as well write that cash off then.

What method are you requesting? If it's something like Moneybookers, they could be waiting for deposits to come in. That said, I thought that the whole Phoenix group (Phoenix, Sports-1, Mania, don't know about WagerChief) used the same Moneybookers account, so they should have sufficient funds sitting in their account from deposits to their various books.

As part of the Phoenix group, your funds are safe. Sorry it's taking a while.

yes, moneybookers, but this payout was on their "urgent" list because it is 2 weeks old. still have not received the other one...

I've also received a withdrawal after over 2 weeks of waiting. My limits haven't been reinstated though!

pjesnik24, if you've received a withdrawal and are awaiting another, I wouldn't hold your breath. CS told me that you can only have one withdrawal request pending at any one time so, regardless of the fact that you might have been waiting 2 weeks for it, you can't raise any subsequent ones until it has been processed.

I'd contact them and raise another if I was you (although they'll probably make you wait another week).

Wish I could claim to be as satisfied but it appears that I am obliged to leave my money in a book for another 7 days (and another 7 days after that, and another 7 days after that) despite the fact it took 2 weeks to process a withdrawal, the site is constantly crashing, and my limits have been reduced to $100. Oh well.

Sports-1 has a limitation of a max. payout per week of 4000 USD or the equivalent in Euros, or GBP, etc. That been said:

Apparently Sports-1 policy is that they can only process 1 payout per week, but in their mind here is how a week works:

Day 1: Request Payout
Day 7: Get Paid
Day 14: Able to request new payout
Day 21: Get Paid

Am I the only person that thinks there is something wrong here? Other than the outright lies that their processor needs to have funds wired in, when they use the same processor as the rest of the group?

Yobinad, I'm with Thremp on this one... if you want your cash to be locked away for a prolonged period of time for no apparent reason, go with Sports-1, otherwise look elsewhere.
