Apparently the issue is with processor, checks have been cut from Canadien banks and written in US dollars (payable in US dollars) and I've never had to wait for them to clear but this time I feel my bank might. I just have that feeling.

UPDATE 1/7/10

Received check via Fedex for 3 figures today, requested 1/2.

3rd different bank in 4 weeks, we were doing great for a while.

I expect reimbursement for the bad one Friday or Monday, replacement being sent.

Apparently it's a cat and mouse game with banks where the Cat finds out where the paper is coming from and they have some mechanism to close the account drawn on.

I just wonder about the future?

What other processors use banks not located in USA? Do they hold them or turn out to be bad?

They do make good and don't try to delay and hope you lose or give you a run around.

Be it by phone/email/chat they have been as fair, professional and fast to correspond on issues.
