Default Betmaker/Ehorsex???

Anyone know if they are merging? The reason I ask is because I was on live chat with a representative from Betmaker (which is the same customer service as Ehorsex if I'm not mistaken) and had a question about payouts from Betmaker. I brought up what has been going on with Ehorsex/Las Palmas and asked if that affects Betmaker payouts. I was told that the accounting departments are separate, but that the companies would be merging in the next 7-10 days which will get payouts caught up to date. Anyone know anything about this?

For the record, I don't have any money tied up in Ehorsex/Las Palmas, but would like to see those players taken care of. Also, being a horse guy, I would like to see Betmaker take off as this wonderful country does not allow us to play at BetFair.

One other thing that I forgot to add, but it's more Betmaker/Bookmaker related. I was told there's a $500 minimum (which is fine) to transfer between Bookmaker and Betmaker, but there's a $100 transfer fee attached. What in the hell is that about considering they apparently own the place?

Good question abt the fees. it's the reason they are not taking off like they should. Cris has never seemingly been concerned abt its fee structure and retaining intermediate to small players.

Until they get fee friendly i will just keep matchbook as an out and wait for Phoenix's version to come out. Phoenix group has a totally different approach to cs and i am looking forward to that. Hurry Richard!!

$100 fee is outrageous. They do not deserve any post up players.

I am not a pimp for Phoenix group, but I have no problem in saying they have treated me fair/well from the getgo--over a year now.

I was half joking in another thread abt someone stepping into the gap and opening up another exchange to compete with Matchbook if/when UIGEA goes down. When I mentioned Phoenix would be the type of place to do something like this, Richard jumped in and said it was in the works. he said it was 6 months out.

So I am guessing in the next 4-5 months we might be seeing or hearing much more abt this.

Many of us are waiting for bet phoenix to start a exchange, they will give Matchy a much deserve kick in the ass with a bit of competition and they will not cannibalize each other as so many seem to think would happened.I am at a total lost to understand the behavior of CRIS in the Betmaker file, you would think they would have use their enormous promotion capability along with EOG to have more participation and liquidity.I must admit being utterly disappointed by the lack of coverage of BETMAKER by SBR in spite of many request on my part and others.

Spoke to a representative at ehorsex and was told that the companies (betmaker and ehorsex) have indeed merged. Was also told that I could expect to see my money in 7-10 days. I have been waiting for over 10 months. Hopefully this time the promise is real.

I too have been waiting for my money from ehorsex since march and was told my payment will definitely be received once the merger takes place which will be by the end of the year. They are going to pay off the Las Palmas (sportsbook) accounts first and then settle up with all the ehorse/ehorsex accounts. This is Cris/Bookmaker who is making the payments. In regards to Betmaker, I have been playing there since it opened and have received 2 bankwires from them. Each one arrived within 3 days.. Can't argure with Cris money. They pay period. I encourage all to play at Betmaker. You will get paid.

Well it's not a question of getting paid. Matchbook pays also. How much did Cris charge you to send a wire? Then your bank charged you to receive it! yes?

If you get a chance to die by paper cuts (Cris) or a bullet (matchbook, etc) which do you choose? Thats the choice really.

I know Matchbook pays... I have an account there and have been paid many times in the past. I play the horses in addition to sportsbetting and Matchbook does not offer daily horse racing. Betmaker/ Cris charge for a wire $ 100 for every $ 9,000. My bank charges $12 for any incoming wire regardless of the amount. The fees at Betmaker are reasonable to me for allowing me to bet on horse racing/sports. I have been waiting for $ 16,500 from ehorsex since march. I would have gladly paid the above fee to have been sent my money in 3 days not 9 months.

I was told something different a few minutes ago.

I am with Las Palmas/ehorse/ehorsex currently

I know I can move money around these 3 entities no charge in seconds by talking to live help.

Recently they changed my account number so that now there is an "L" at the end (this happened today or yesterday)

Along with this change their betting menu now is identical to BetCRIS/Bookmaker.

So I asked live help if they are now togther (LAs Palmas/CRIS) and he said he is supporting both websites. I then asked if you can transfer from one to the other, he said yes the fee is $25.

So since ehorsex and Betmaker are merged it seems you can wager there by transferring from CRIS/Bookmaker to Las Palmas for $25 then transferring to ehorsex for free.

As best I understand it for now.

The $25 fee makes more sense, since this is an identical fee between BM and DSI. I checked out Betmaker recently, but not much money there in-play to match period regardless of sport.

Anybody have any clue who owns Betmaker? On a live chat with Bookmaker, I was told that Betmaker is no longer part of the Cris group. I went back into live chat with Bookmaker and was told the same thing by a different representative. I went over to Betmaker and was told they are indeed part of the Cris group and the guy would confirm it with the accounting department which he did. This is rather confusing.

On the subject of transfers, Betmaker told me there is no charge to transfer from Betmaker to Bookmaker. Bookmaker told me they still do transfers with Betmaker, but it's $100 for a $500 minimum up to $5000 and $200 for a transfer of $5001 and up.

This would be so much easier if Matchbook just took horses lol.

For the record, I'd love to hear something, anything from SBR on the Betmaker situation. I don't remember them saying anything about them once the exchange started.

BetCris/Bookmaker have indeed merged with EhorseX/Las Palmas group.

I requested a 5 figure transfer from my EhorseX account over to my Bookmaker account and it was completed in 10 minutes.

Great news for all of us who were concerned about our funds at EhorseX/Las Palmas.

Great to hear Andy.

I see Las Palmas got a ratings bump from D to C on Dec. 23 2009.

I wonder why so low still if it's part of CRIS family now and its wagering menu is identical?

I don't know what SBR's problem is,they have categorically refuse to look in this matter,in spite of many requests from me and many others.EOG had no problem getting Mickey Richardson(the big dog at CRIS)to come on their website for a podcast interview with John Kelly, where at the time he said that they at CRIS understood that exchanges are the absolute future of sports gambling.

And now almost 4mths later everything is still frustratingly up in the air, maybe i gona have to register at EOG and ask Ken Weiszner their owner if he could find out WTF is going with them and report what i found out the forum. From what i gathered he seem to be in tight with the entire CRIS organization.

I agree SBR reportage has been rather thin for quite a while. Appreciate the moderator role they play in disputes, but would like to see more Woodward and Bernstien action on these books.

Agreed, SBR has forsaken their role as industry watchdog to focus on points whores and pizzas. The ratings are very slow to move after developments in the market sector and they seem to be pimping lower quality books compared to the last couple years. Their bottom line might be getting bigger, but their reputation for standing on principle is crumbling.
