I know who you are as I know most of my players. We make our money from major US sports and we just don't have the volume to get beet in soccer, tennis and other obscure sports. Those offering are an added value for a rec players we just could'nt sustain our model of profitabilty by taking that action from sharps.

Hopefully as we grow and our volume grows in these sports we will be able to invite you back.

Not sure. I was losing at the start and my limit was increased a bit. I had a few good weeks at the end and that was it. Only point of contention for me was the suddenness... no warning or reduction of limits. I was not following steam. Again I would have no problem recommending this shop. In regards to the issues in this thread, how can you fault them for being reluctant to pay immediately with the"mixup" with the ID. The open leg of the parlay seems a bit silly though.

I may be clueless, according to Blackie, but I can't see how a 50% rebate on losses would appeal to any bettor. Do people actually sign up with a Book and have the goal of getting half their money back--that is the definition of a loser IMO. Give me a Book that offers a front end bonus or, better yet, reduced juice. RW has a shitty business model and a very low opinion of its clientele. A loser Book which caters to losers.

Hedge Blackie's 90% estimate was low IMHO. You need only look at the content of some of the threads. My favourite one is the advice to people that freeplay is worth exactly half of cash. To that "90%" getting back money on losses looks great "just in case".

I agree that a very small % will win in the long run (1%-2% ?)However, from a player's standpoint, I know you would do better with say MatchBook which has very low juice. You can stay in the game a lot longer with low juice Books, rather than full juice places that give back half your losses.

From a Book's standpoint, RW would make much more money if it offered a front end bonus and eliminated the loss rebate. That's why I think their business model is flawed.

This really makes me want to post up with you. Let's see how much you think you know, my guess is it isn't much.

We actaully do offer up front money. We give all our players up to 25% in Free Play when they redeposit after losing their rebate.

So that's up to 25% free play upfront and a 25% rebate on the back end if you lose.

You are not thinking like the average bettor. "But honey, if I lose they even give me money back." Also, this differentiates them from most others offering the front end bonus. Many cannot even figure out how to use an exchange. If people understood the advantage of low vig, why will most when given a choice choose the front end bonus?

I'm sure there are all kind of rules and limitations on this bonus as well like a 10x RO and FP to be used on straight bets only at -110.

I can't get by with MatchBook alone. I need other Books which offer teasers, Pars, Props etc... The more outs I have, the better my chances of being in the small group of bettors that can generate a profit consistently.

In the past we have made this exception. Major US sports sides and totals only. Will confirm with Blackie this afternoon.

So let me get this straight...a Rebatewager player calls up this Sunday and parlays Alabama with TCU and one open spot. This wager would be graded a loss the next day, even though both of these games are three weeks away?

I asked a similar question and never got an answer. If Sunday ends their calendar week, then it appears all opens lose on Monday. Lame rule to say the least.

It's your opinion of the rule. If you don't like the rule don't make the wager.

As for Ricky Steves question we have made a decision to discontnue open parlays and teasers as it is not worth dealing with those player's that choose to disregard the rules that they are aware of and agree to.

You just have to choose a team by the week ending. The game does not have to be finished or played yet I believe.

Good call, although it will hurt your profitabilty if you can no longer steal open money.

For all of this shit that REBATEWAGER has gone trough with this guy !
Look they even paid him .It's like winning a lottery .
They deserve to be upgraded to B+ A-. No kidding . I am not kidding -
Rebatewager wasn't even forced to pay him .
They left it up to SBR guys to decided what is right or wrong . Should they pay him or not .

I am not bushing SBR .
SBR helped a lots of players to get their money .

I still think we didn't get the whole story . From the book nor the player.

Rebatewager representative didn't help at all . Got too emotional to defend the book .Instead of concentrating on the topic .Got cared away with irrelevantissues .
Player used an idiots and the guys that are willing to jump on any book if they see" look they don't pay" .

Rebatewager is the winner here . Paid $1600 to some "shmack " .
And gained a reputation that they pay everyone that wins ( prog parleys ) Read the rules first .
Pick the team > if you win, you'll get paid .

I'm glad to hear you were paid.

One point I hope was reinforced from reading this thread is that there are rules at every sportsbook. A player should know when signing up at a sportsbook not to provide false information. I hope that most players recognize this without having to consult a sportsbooks rules page.

Mostly all of our contests require nothing but a valid account number. However, after a player enters picks and earns a prize he is still bound by the terms & conditions of the sponsoring sportsbook. Cases where fake information is provided will be handled at the sportsbooks discretion.

It still amazes me how people bash Rebatewager because of the rebates

All you guys forget about their DC , free and fast payouts

Did you ever think people may play there for that not the rebates ?

Their customer service is top notch and blows away most other books.

I always laugh my head off at all the threads when Matchbook goes down and all you sharps start screaming about how do I know if my bets were matched ?

Rules are rules and people should read them, if a book has a rule on teasers you abide by them or do not use them. It is not a hidden rule so why blame the book ?

Blame the idiot that keeps breaking the rules.

Oddsmaker.com when they had their freeplays they gave away they had a rule about no parlays yet almost every idiot did it anyway then cried when all thier winnings were voided. It was spelled out in the rules but always broken.

Rebatewager said they they are a rec book so why are you bashing them for being a rec book.

I guess our government steals too Because every time I broke the law and got caught speeding I had to pay a fine.
