I'm only posting not to vent my frustration but so that I might help another individual avoid Bet Jamaica if possible (though I know many say they love this book).

I recently thought I'd give Bet Jamaica a try. I went through the process of sending in copies of dl & depositing card info & their authorization form. I called back to see if they had received it & they did....but the "customer service" was very rude and said to go back to the website to make a deposit.

So i did & it wouldnt work, so I called back the next day & another very rude c.s. rep tried to take my card over the phone and I'm a small time player so I asked her what the minimum deposit was & she said $100 (this is the scam part). I was intending to start small with $50 and so I told her that I would probably make a deposit at another sportsbook and she said, oh well the minimum deposit amount is $50......A minute ago she said it was $100!

So, i kindly hung up & deposited at another book.

sorry to here that. i have had nothing but great experiences there. you can deposit 5 dollars or more via cc or ******** if you call. online min is 20 for that. also i think it is a 100 for ** or **. sometimes some of their cs can be rude, hard living on beach in jamaica just hang up and call back you will get another one that is probably nicer

I think in the past I have made deposits of $30 at BetJamaica and I know I did at their sister book WagerStreet which is in the same building with them. I now wager at BetPhoenix and dont have all those problems.

That is s sleezy way to try and get you to bump up your initital deposit, something I would expect more from betonline or SBG.

I've been with Bet Jamica since Augest 06, they have been awsome with me. I guess after being a member for some time they send me A DC, I can go to any ATM and pull cash from my account. I believe minuim time of having an active account to get card is 2 years. BJ has been get for me and my family, I also have 3 other account's, and BJ is far better than the other's.

Mack, its funny you wrote this cause I had almost the same experience 2 days ago. I've been wanting to try betjamaica cause everyone talks so good about them, so I tried to make a small first deposit online and try them out. After entering my card info I got a "pre auth" and I needed to call in to complete the trans. The lady was soooooo rude and she didnt want to take my payment over the phone. I explained what happened online, so she finally took my card info and told me it was declined (there was plenty of money in the account). I asked if they were having processor issues or something and she said no. So I was like screw it.....I'm not gonna fight with you to take my money.....so i went right back over to 5dimes and my payment went thru no problem. 5dimes is the best. Would recommend them to anyone

I dont know why but for me the minimum deposit by moneybookers is US 50.00
