SBG showing a new face?
SBG has recently taken a much more open stance with SBR, and we are having some good dialogues. I can't tell where it will go, but it is certainly refreshing. I hope things can continue to improve.

That is good news. I did play with them a bit a few months back and found them to be okay.. then all of a sudden they started charging a 7% fee on moneybookers and neteller withdrawals. I understand that they stopped doing that now, but I am a bit vary depositing there until someone brave enough goes in there and tells us about the experience :O

Yes. Well, a syndicate that was moving for Royal before Royal was purchased (and Royal "zeroed out" the accounts).

So what is your message of this thread Justin? I don't get it. This book inherited a 500k debt and just ignored it, you play here now or what?

Any book that wants a great reputation has to take it one step at a time. I was surprised at the degree of cooperation and discussion I was receiving, and thought it noteworthy. They still have other issues to address, but it is encouraging to me that they are discussing facts on issues.

Can you please elaborate on what this means? I am trying to see how they have taken that first step, I mean this could mean as little as picking up your call or making some kind of promise to you about how they'll treat players....

A scum book never deserves a 2nd chance. I don't care, and if they would hire Mother Teresa as supervisor... they can go to hell, forever.

How recently? I thought they were climbing the ladder a step at a time for a number of months until as recently as September when they decided to slide right off the ladder. There was no mention on their site, by email, or by the CS rep when making deposits, that they were going to charge 8% on e-wallet withdrawals. They just plucked the figure from thin air and there was nothing you could do. If your bank account was in another currency from US$ then you would face fees from your bank and fees returning the cash to Moneybookers if you took a wire. And 8% of a large balance is a large amount of money. Remember, this was only two months ago. What's changed since then? They've certainly not paid back any fees which would be a fair thing to do considering they moved the goalposts on payouts and also lied about the reason why they had to make it an 8% fee.

Never say never, but I would take lot of convincing to post up with this lot. It is the same management that decided to start screwing their players, if the going gets rough at some point in future........................

I have played with SBG a lot over the years and always been paid. I wasn't happy a few months ago with their 8% withdrawal fee for Moneybookers, but aside from that always been treated well by SBG. I would deposit at SBG before ever thinking of sending WSEX money.

SBG mgt has been available in the past and solves small complaints but the trend is to stop talking when they get caught with hand in cookie jar. That said, if it wasn't for conversations wev'e had with SIA, Internet1x2, BetUS and recently bet33, players owed from years past wouldn't have been paid and the books wouldn't have the chance to show their improvements.
