Has this NOT happened to anyone else? They're an extremely recreational shop, they will cut your prop/exotic limits in no time flat.

zstevens, the $100 online limit reduction is the 1st cut they make when they feel your action won't be profitable enough for them.

The 2nd reduction they will do is to cut you off from betting online entirely and turn your account into a "telephone only" account which is where my account currently is.

When they do this, you will be cut off from betting props entirely as you can only bet props via the internet.

The only way to avoid getting your limits cut at Bodog is to lose money.

Thanks for the info my friend. Will phoning in the wagers allow me to place larger bets. Or will they limit my phone wagers as they are my internet ones.

Yeah, Bodog cuts limits faster than many of the books out there, from my own experience of betting there.

like other said, this is extremely common, there's no need for any moderator to weigh in. once you win consistently, other rec books do the same. has there been a sharp player who haven't been cut from bodog? they're about one step above sportbet and one step below 5dimes, you prolly won't know what i'm talking about but others will..

This is common and I imagine it happens to everyone that doesn't bet the square side after consistently after one or two bets... Although even on second line set you can still find the occasional game that bodog has the best number on...

Prior to the UIGEA and Neteller difficulties (and my subsequent relocation) I would still make money there on props. Although I think even that has dried up significantly. Not saying the sharp lines didn't some times produce value, but my time was better spent at other shops.

They are very quick to do all of the things mentioned above (dual lines, cut limits) in addition to being very quick to put you on a delay, in which case they'll move their line before you can confirm your bet.

Bodog is one of the books that have been known to screw their customers. If a book is that bad, to where their practices become common knowledge to a person like myself, who almost exclusiely plays in Vegas, it is probably time to leave.

Post right here, I don't care- I'm simply trying to protect the player and their account information...also, a presence on the forums is only a small piece of my job with www.BodogBrand.com and www.CalvinAyre.com. Therefore, a PM is the quickest way to get my attention as I do not have time to check every thread every day.

Bodog screws players by dealing dual lines, putting players on delays, and canceling live bets claiming they were "past posted," among other things.

Two facts re: Bodog Live

1) Bodog cancels any wagers regardless of win/loss that they find to be past post.
2) if any player thinks a wager of theirs was past post and not canceled or was graded unfairly as past post, they should contact customer service.

How is it even possible to have a "past post" live bet considering that all live bets are "past posted?"
