Default I have never seen this type of deposit method

IT WORKS LIKE THIS:
  1. Request that we get a hold on your CC for a specific amount.
  2. This amount becomes your credit line.
As holds freeze the requested amount for 5 business days, your credit remains for the same period after which you simply request that we get another hold.
If you break even or win on a day's plays. your CC is not charged. Your card is only charged if there is a net loss on your account after a day's plays.
Of course, if you prefer, we also offer typical post-up accounts (money deposited in advance).
We take the security of your private information very seriously. Since we started, and in over 10 years, there has not been one case of compromised personal information or improper use of CC information.

I think a Canadian only book does that. I didn't see any reason to play there when I checked out their offerings.

Didn't mind the system though, beats having to put cash out up front and then having to worry about getting it back.

They just out a hold on the card and if you win they do not charge the card.

No different than a regular CC deposit.

See the 10Bet Theft thread to see why this is not a good idea for the player.

Book gets authorisation code.
Player beats book.
Book reverses CC deposits
Book claims funds could not be debited and voids bets.

This is ActionOnsports? It's probably something only a small book can get by doing. Many more transactions than taking one deposit and having more than one chance at the player's money.
