Sportsinteraction.com Charged my CC, lied to me, then closed my account.
all for a measly 50 bucks. wow. thank god im not a high roller.
heres the story..
i got a prepaid ********** specificaly for betting online, and only used sportsinteraction.com. well, ive been using it for a long time, with no real problems to speak of. (now i wonder if its i just never noticed, due to rarely checking the statements) well i went and depsoited 50 bucks onto my card at the local shop where you do this. and the lady says your balance is now 0. i said that cant be right?? she says check your statement. so i bring it up online, and lo and behold, a charge of 50 bucks of my card on october 19th/20th that i knew nothing about and did not authorize. in fact, i was on vacation with zero access to a computer. anyways, so i say ok, benefit of a doubt, ill login and check my si.com account and maybe the 50 bucks is there, my account is closed...
i call and talk to a guy who barely speaks english for 25 minutes and he pretty much calls me a liar and says my wife must of used my card on there site (LOL) i live by myself and im single by the way..
i say ok look, obviously if a deposit was made then they have records of the 50 dollar bet on there system.. he admits thats a good point and says ok ill check. then comes back and admits there is no record of a bet on my account from any day in the month of october.
i then say, you froze my account so you obviously know you guys screwed up soimewhere...
he transfers me, and i get a female who says her name is chris.. she pretty much calls me a liar several times..
when i say doesnt it seem odd that no bet was made with this 50 bucks i Supposedly gave you? she stutters mumbles some bs, then puts me on hold, comes back and says you bet on a canucks game.? lol i said the guy before allready admited you got nothing on your system.. she went silent. said "ok" and said well before we put 50 bucks in your si.com account fax us the bank statements... i said you guys are a scam, i want my money not 50 bucks in a account that ill never see again even if i win.
she went silent again.. hung up...
like i said.. only 50 bucks.. chalk this up as lesson learned and joind thegreek.com today.
these people need to be stopped.
no bad luck everyone

Do not chalk it up as a lesson learnt.
File a complaint with Justin and he will look into it for you,no book should be able to get away with stunts like that.

hellodestiny, I see you've spotted the other thread about SIA's current antics so you're aware of other current complaints. As Vanman says, make sure you fill in a complaint form and make Justin aware of your situation - the more complaints SBR get about this dodgy book the more seriously they will take it.

#1) they charged my CC without my consent. THATS ILLEGAL. did you read the complaint? i didnt log on , i didnt try to deposit money, they just started trying to charge my card without me knowing. and since my original post, after talking to the CC people i found out they actually tryed twice.
you dont see a problem with someone charging your CC without you knowing? really?
#2) they DIDNT PUT THE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT... they froze it and denied me access. then denied taking the money!!!

Just out of curiousity..... what could he even get done? i mean what gives him more pull than the person who has the issue. Just curious to know how someone can have so much pull with sports books.
Good luck justin, if i ever have a problem i guess i know who to count on

Just to clarify... I didn't say YOU made the deposit.
Someone with your cc info using your IP address made the deposit. That person wasn't necessarily you. There might have been an unauthorized transaction on your cc, but I don't see how SIA is at fault.

Just get a chargeback. I do not support this method. But if they did indead what you are saying, they stole you. It is an illegal trasaction. It is a Fraudulent Transaction.

simple. they are at fault because twice in a month they have tryed charging my CC without my knowledge. im single and live alone. noone else tryed using my card. even more so, all there claims of me filing a chargeback after a lost bet are hillarious, for reasons being,
1)the first rep admited no bet was made, the second rep made a game up involving a team that didnt even play the night she said a bet was made
2) i have the CC statement right here showing absolutely zero chargeback made at the times they have stated it was made.
3) they claim a chargeback was made on the 30th then they closed my account on the evening of the 30th, yet i found out they screwed me and tryed logging into there site on the 29th and it was blocked. just another lie.
4) justin do you work for Sportsinteraction

scary to think they are going after petty 50 dollar transactions now. This is going to suck man, but I would chalk it up as a loss and move on to A rated shops. Best bet right now. SIA

No, I don't work for any sportsbook (although I did 4+ years ago).
SIA claims a $50 deposit was made on October 19th, and bet it all on a 2-team parlay (San Jose ML, Vancouver ML). When it lost, a chargeback was issued, and your account was closed.
Are you out $50? If you didn't do a charge back, and never received that $50 back, I'll burn them to the ground. Just send me the card details so I can confirm it with your cc carrier. This would be a CS disaster if I can confirm your facts, and I'm confident SIA would make things more than right.

Justin doesnt work for Sportinteraction. He works for all sportsbooks and he fills his pockets when morons like us come to him with a dispute that we think he can help straighten out. Then he'll publically side with the book and privately collect his rewards. I havent seen one single thread where someone asked Justin for help and ended up getting paid because of the work Justin did.

chris from SIA allready told me they would credit my account 50 bucks if i fax them over the statements. i said thats BS because i dont want that account anymore i would want cash/cheque/ anything, they said they would not do that, and would only put 50 in my account. what good is that 50 bucks knowing id never see it again if i requested a withdrawl lol.
look, i totally understand your believing that a book wouldnt do this to someone over 50 bucks when they deal with ppl who bet thousands... but remember.. you steal 50 bucks here and there from 1000 ppl, thats 50 grand... it adds up, and they belong in a business were ppl become degenerate gamblers. people who get so crazy they cant remember what they ate for dinner, let alone remember if they made a bet months ago on there CC statements. and thats what i think sportsinteraction does... they prey on ppl and hope the person doesnt notice... small amounts.. and only 2% of online gamblers realize sites like sbr.com exist, so lots of ppl will get scammed and not know others get scammed too.
bottomline, what they did was illegal. you keep defending a book that did something absolutely disgusting, and you being sure "they would make it right" doesnt mean shit. if a murderer kills someone, but apologizes to the victims family.. that doesnt "make it right"
give it up already
sportsinteraction is a scam book

Hello,
If your CC statement shows there was no chargeback, you've caught SIA in a lie. If that happens, I promise you two things will happen. 1. You'll get $50. Not an SIA account, but delivered to your door. 2. I'll get you a bunch of SBR points to get you a big freeplay for bringing this fraud out in the open.
Send me your CC info so we can expose the truth.

How would you handle this one?
There's a factual dispute. SIA says a chargeback occurred, player says it didn't. If you can go to the source to resolve a factual dispute, you do so.
Or would you rather just blast the book without looking and resolving the factual issues?

I have a piece of advice I'll give you. I've given it to others on sports, but never regarding sportsbook dispute resolution. It applies equally to both, so maybe you can remember it and do better:
If you're clueless about something, don't bet on it.

I'll be the first to admit...I bet on alot of sports that i dont have a clue about and 90% of the time i lose my ass. I also do not have a clue about the facts of this particular case. The only thing i was 100% sure of was that you would side with the book.
