It depends on the book and who is making the bet. If your a huge whale the limits don't matter.

This list is probably about 3 years old so a lot has changed.

What keeps someone from placing the same bet with 5 different casinos so the limit can be higher ?

online sportsbooks sometimes make the case that you're a "professional handicapper" and letting you deposit. Is this the same with vegas sportsbooks?

lets say i win 90% of the time, but i bet below the limits, like at 2500$ a wager or something. Would my business eventually be unwelcome?

Hopefully someone who lives in Vegas will answer your question... I am not sure I have heard of anyone being show the door who is just honestly beating them... hmm... I believe I remember some people having issues with limits being moved up or down, but that was for all bettors not just the individual

Nothing, however many places don't open till 8am, which is 11am EST and a game that starts at 1pm EST, doesn't give you much time to hit many places before the game... Of course later games are a different story...

Again, I have never been to Vegas and these are just my observations from the internet...

In four years of betting MLB at a good winning clip in Vegas (mostly at or near the limit) I've been shown the door at one casino (Stations).

Once you learn which books to use, the fastest routes, and where to park, you can hit every major book in this time frame and still have plenty of time for lunch.

Do you think they monitor the sports bettors with some face recognition cameras ? I think you got their attention because of the high limits you where playing.

Well, some places have high limits...like 5-10k a game...so I'm sure if someone wants to bet more the Casino will arrange that...but this is just my opinion.

Once your bets exceed 10k a day, most books will require ID, SSN, etc., so no need for face recognition. They'll know you. Most books will treat you well, even as a long-time winner.

Unless they have reason to believe that you are square, or they really value your action in other departments, getting action over the limit is not the norm, at least not in MLB.

Thank you for your answers. I read that in Hong Kong they don't have limits on betting, except for some leauges in third world countries like Estonian soccer for example...but far as I know you can bet more then 10k on US games in Hong Kong. I'm not sure, you might check that out if you don't know already if is true or not.

There are only two books in town that try to make money in the sportsbook and that want your business (Hilton and M). The rest in town are just necessary evils for the casinos, and the book managers are just risk managers. So limits can be very low unless you have high-roller status in the casino. And I don't mean a Diamond Card or equivalent. You would probably need at least a 100k line of credit in the casino for a lot of places to even consider raising the house limits for you. If you beat them up week after week, its just like the online books.... cut limits, no re-bets, one trip to the counter, no props, 86d from sportsbook, stuff like that.

Thats about right. I think the M may have surpassed Hilton as the king.
