Are There 5 Good Books Left?
Looks like # is getting lower
WSEX slow paying so there no good
Greek Strong
Jamaica Strong
Cascade working through some changes but they will be fine.
Carib still ok

stopped using
betcris
wsex
5dimes
between betcris and wsex, betcris is still much better.
as for 5dimes, i found their withdrawal fees unreasonable since the other gave "free withdrawals".

It's the funding/withdrawing options is where the problems are coach. I'm not trying to defend any books at all here, but it does take some time to put together a new plan to workout those types of issues.

The new payment card seemed like a great idea by jamica...but the more I look into it, the more problems I see with it. $4.95 a month just to have it.

I think the answer to this question depends entirely on if you are located within the USA or not.
Perhaps the question should be, are there 5 good books left for players in the USA
I would say, at least fo the time being YES

In my opinion these are the only books that still take US players that I would trust to stay afloat no matter what new obstacles come in the near future and pay if they got shutdown.
Greek
CRIS
Bodog(square book, but still rock solid financially)
BetJamaica
Diamond
5 Dimes
WSEX
I'm not sold on VIP.

If you see the panic wave caused by the arrest of two former Neteller execs, -almost a non-event-, you can bet your ass that the US government would love to get its rabid teeth into Calvin Ayre. Bodog is too high profile to be among the safest books. (if this were a movie, I'd assume that Ayre would be history as soon as the US outspends him on the CR police).
WSEX/Matchbook may be the safest from a legal perspective, because of where they're located.

i dont know if your talking about the payment card that they load money onto and you can withdraw off it but they dont work. The greek had one last year that worked for a couple months then stopped. And they just got another two months ago and a week after they mailed them out they were done. The banks find out what they are using them for and deactivate them.

It is goof, hence why I am going to quit and move to Vegas so it is legal. Also that is one of the reasons I am so hesitant about playing online. Especially since I will be a law firm investigator when I return.

A player wrote into SBR indicating he has a $1,532 balance with betcascade and is unable to obtain any information regarding being paid his funds. betcascade is a deposit-only sportsbook that owes millions of dollars to players. betcascade is on the worst sportsbooks blacklist.
