Default does dsi have the right to do this? feels like robbery

they wont trasnfer my money to matchbook. fine (even though i was told by bookmaker that dsi does).

now they want to not let me use my earned betpoints towards a free withdrawl? this is not right. and i only chose this book becasue they were top rated here at sbr. every day it tells me i have 9000+bet points. and now that i ask to use them, they tell me they are useless. this is blatant robbery. i never would have played with a book with such withdrawl fees and no way to get out my money cheaply.

can someone here help me with this attempted robbery?

Just have them send you a check for free. That is what the points are for. It clearly states this on there site. Not robbery at all. NO FORCE OR FEAR!

CS - Kim: Sir you have to call them directly and ask them to do so

you: lol

you: great customer service i recieve!

CS - Kim: I am sorry sir but that is the procedure

CS - Kim: They are the only ones that can help you out

you: ok, its just extremely poor customer service

you: anyway, what are my withdrawl options

CS - Kim: And if you don't contact them and ask for it they won't do so

CS - Kim: As far as withdrawals go, there are several ways to receive payment. Roll over requirements must be met and the proper documentation must be on file (if you have used a CC to deposit) before receiving payment. You’re welcome to receive funds via **********,**, a paper check thru courier mail, and wire (for amounts of $5000 or more). Our payouts have a service fee depending on the method. All withdrawals are subject to approval by our Payout Department.

you: what are the free withdrawl methods

you: ?

CS - Kim: Sir you can not have free payouts from us

you: using my betpoints

you: You can now redeem your BetPoints™ for a Free Payout once per week and even choose your preferred payout method.

CS - Kim: That note was posted on September 20

you: posted where? to who?

you: are you retroactively taking away my earned points?

Your chat transcript will be sent to xxxxxxx@gmail.com at the end of your chat.

CS - Kim: It was a management decision sir... I am sorry but there is nothing I can do about that

you: can i speak to a manger please?

you: im getting pushed around here

CS - Kim: Our Customer Service Department toll free number is 1-800-5968946. Feel free to call us at any time for answer to your questions or doubts.

you: i prefer live chat or email so i have documentaion of what is going on

you: thats bush league

you: i just want to be done with your website

CS - Kim: Is there anything else that I may assist you with today?

you: yes, please explain why it says that i have 9,832.12 betpoints every time i log onto m y account

CS - Kim: Those are points that you accumulate but because you were from loyalty program you can not use them

you: why does it tell me i have them?

you: is it a trick?

you: dont you think you should have told me this?

CS - Kim: One moment please, I will be with you shortly.
CS - Kim: One moment please, I will be with you shortly.

CS - Kim: I am sorry

CS - Kim: I do not take care of informing customer about that

you: does anyone?

CS - Kim: You call customer service and ask for a supervisor

you: or is it supposed to be a surprise when a customer is ready to withdraw funds

you: i cant talk on the phone at work and i prefer to have the poor customer service and robberies well documented anyway

CS - Kim: Is not that we have a poor customer service, is that you have to talk to a supervisor

you: i cant talk on the phone about gambling @ work

If you're willing to pay $200 to transfer your bankroll why not pay what it takes to withdraw it and then deposit at matchbook?

Your free check will take 1 month, I actually don't recommend that.

I can say for a 110% fact that I did a book-to-book transfer from DSI to Matchbook ... not exactly sure when, but my best guess is about 9 months ago.

Wow....Kim was calm, and tried to answer all your questions, the problem is not with her, still, this case is interesting...

I am sure that DSI must have sent you an email that you are cut out from all bonus and loyalty programs...

Also when I asked for a supervisor (which happened at 3-4 bookies in many years), they always got one to the live chat...and it's not a customer friendly option, to only give this information by phone, as this would cost a lot for example for European customers (in spite of the toll free nr, have to pay for an overseas call, which is not cheap)

DSI didn't break any rules in this case, but didn't handle this situation as a professional bookmaker should - for sure.

Although, I can understand you're annoyed at the book but there is no point in taking it out on the Live chat rep. I once worked for a book on live chat and there was nothing more annoying that someone staying on chat demanding answers that I could not physically give. She assisted you to the extent that she could.

I had the same kind of problem as the OP, DSI just removed my points i was told this was beacuse i only ever deposited when i recieved a bonus. Couldn't really argue as i only deposited to get the bonus so they worked out what i was doing lol.

Still kind of sucks though.

My advice is always be nice to these people even when you are taking a high hard one. It's kind of like a waiter or waitress in a restaurant.
Piss them off and I guarantee you will be eating snot sooner or later, probably sooner.

foxxer- not only have i never recieved an email, my account still this morning tells me i have 9800 and change betpoints.

and i was positive i could trasnfer close to 5 figures to my matchbook account. and then im told no. and my limits at dsi are 500. this is basically freezing 10000 dollars of mine. i could imagine most here would be beyond frustrated if it was their money.

and not posted here is an apology to kim at the very end of the chat. she seems to say no worries but i guess she still may be pissed.

finally, the amount of the check withdrawl is still in my account this morning and i hate this. it should be taken out of the account immedietly upon request.

i'm shocked to hear that matchbook actually reinburse your bookmaker transfer fees in form of credits, do you know if they do this for wsex? i must ve lost couple hundred transferring my wsex balance to matchbook.

addtionally, does any of the other books reinburse you if you make a transfer from bookmaker?

I think matchbook will only cover for cris books and its 2.5 percent of the transfer up to 200 dollars. I think they said they will also cover wsex fees but just one time. But no other books fees will they cover

Matchbook will give you the $50 transfer fee in the form of commission on the first transfer you make from WSEX to Matchbook. There is a rollover involved and this was about 2 months ago, so I don't know if they still reimburse the transfer fee.

Reading your chat I don't see why you were rude to the CS manager, Kim. Seems like she went out of her way to try and help you and in her limited job capacity had zero authority to change policy.

It's sort of like yelling at the customer service person at BkofAma because they raised your ATM fees.

Whether they were right or wrong doesn't excuse your behavior towards her, imo.

According to Matchbook Deposit/withdraw interbook transfer page, CRIS/Bookmaker/Betmaker are listed. No DSI.

File a complaint with SBR. If DSI does transfers with MB, then they should allow you to do a transfer.

you: matchbook

CS - Kim: And how much?

you: 8700

CS - Kim: That will be a 200$ fee

That is just the cost of doing business at CRIS/DSI/Bookmaker, like DC overdraft fees or CC interest. Getting your money in and out is not going to be cheap unless they actively think you're a sucker, and at least now you know for next time. The good news is that you can do much larger transfers without them jacking you for any more than the $200, so if your bankroll can take it I'd try to get to the point where you want to move at least $25k if you intend to stay at both books.

For DSI to be worth it given you also know about and use Matchbook, you need to be able to leave the money there over the (very) long term. The good news is that keeping even a very large amount there is about as safe as it gets.

there is no point in having a large sum in any book when withdrawing from it is so expensive (or trasnferring). AND they limit you to 500 max on everything. thats the screwjob here. never would have ran up a large balance there if i kney they would limit my wagers and my withdrawl options

Default DSI not deserve "Professional" rating

The fact is that SBR's "professional" rating for DSI is wrong. It should be rated a "recreational" book.

SBR should be embarrassed that many people have wasted money playing at DSI because of this bogus rating.

I've written about this topic last year as have others. DSI will limit collar customers who actually make money and they will take away the customer's already earned betpoints without telling them.

And it doesn't matter if the customer is 100% within all the rules stated on the DSI website. They don't want winners, period!

Again, SBR should be embarrassed that they claim DSI to be a sportsbook for "professional" players. Nothing could be further from the truth.
