The thread was made before the chat. In fact, it's pretty clear that the creation of this thread was what set him off. The title in particular seems to have pissed him off

You're probably right that "Tony" should have toned it down a little though.

I hope you get something back, but I seriously doubt that you will. I agree that there is pretty good evidence that shady stuff was going on there (blatant cheating to be exact). The fact that the CEO/boss appears to be something of a con man/career criminal leads me to believe you will never get anything from Pitbull though.

The employees might have a shot, because they can appeal to the Costan Rican authorities.

In your case, I think you had luckily transferred your entire balance to 5Dimes before the final collapse. I seriously doubt you will get back any of the money you were cheated out of. At least you didn't get hit as bad as the people who had outstanding balances. Honestly, I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. There is virtually zero chance you will get anything, and even if you do, it will not be a large enough amount to spend a lot of time over.

Anyway, I really do wish you good luck. I hope the scumbags who were running Pitbull go down hard. And 5Dimes does bear some responsibility for steering customers to Pitbull. I suspect that is why Tony seems to be claiming that Pitbull was an honest company that was toppled by spurious claims of cheating.

What I don't understand is that maybe the OP should be compensated. He or She transferred $7,564.18 and transfer back $10,227.16. What if he or she transferred $7,564.18 and won more then 10k and lets say $16k. He then then loose 6k from those wins, because in the long run he was going to lose to superusers. So maybe the OP was trying to say he was really up more then 10k and transfer out because losing 6k is not fun. This could be a possibility.

Would he then be compensated since the superusers know what hands he had for him or her to lose 6k. Anyways I too played at the flash poker and lost, but it wasn't anything that high. I did not complain about my account. I don't even know if I was cheated, probably not because I played at lower limit tables. I won't complain about the money I lose unless it was big as the OP was and I was playing lower limits.

I wonder if Pokerdollars had a much higher poker room balance and lost some of it back to the super users?

If that is the case, then just because he had a net positive balance at payout does not necessarily mean everything has been made right. There is no such thing as "house money" in this case - if he had $20k at some point and lost $10k back to super users, he has still been wronged.

The real difficulty is proving which losses were super user and which were just the player. Unlikely to ever be settled.

I know hwo you feel man I lost alot of money on some crazy hands they never happen in real life. I have no doubt online poker is all rigged.

I hate online poker also! I've lost a lot of money on Bookmaker poker as well as a few others.

I hear this story and also the story about ULTIMATEBET in the past and I no longer want to play poker online. It's online so there must be ways for someone to see your cards and cheat.

I'll play poker at live poker rooms or at the casinos from now on.

I'm not looking to get into a debate but I'm surprised that it's taken people so long to realize that it's rigged. Why would online poker be rigged? Online poker sites take a percentage of the pot as a rake. The bigger the pot sizes the larger the rake for the company. To increase the pot size (to increase their rake) they create action by giving two players great hands so they bet into each other and thats how you bump up the average pot sizes per table (over thousands of tables on the server this means X amount of profits extra per hour for the website). If a company is in the business of making money (everyone on the planet is! lol), and they are in control of the software that is dealing the cards, then why wouldn't they rig it. It's no different than a slot machine. Slot machines are programmed to take in X amount of dollars. Online poker is programmed to take in X amount of dollars. If they didn't force action they wouldn't have as high of profits.

Gatsby, I agree with you 100% and acarmelo1 is simply a left-wing idiot.

Its one thing to disagree with former President Bush and quite another to place him on par with Osama bin Laden.

Perhaps if Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and John Edwards (along with all the other prominent democrats) voted against the war on Iraq when they had the chance, then Bush doesn't send the troops into Iraq.

Linking Bush with Osama bin Laden, ridiculous.
Linking left-wing lunatics like acarmelo1 with Osama bin Laden, not so ridiculous.

Because it's easy to dump 3452352345 hands to software, analyse the stats, then prove it's rigged.

Plausible cheating is small-scale hacking to benefit a particular individual or group, ie letting them see others' cards. Mass cheating by the site to increase action would be easy to prove.

I am actually on Tony's side with this one. Thread reminds me of someone outing Walmart for not making a donation. Did you get your strong arm tactic lessons from The Shrink PokerDollars?

When you put your customers in business with someone your vouching for that business. That business in this case was operating in an un-ethical manner. 5 dimes shoulders blame on this. But I don't see that blame turning into a refund of $$$. Too hard to prove not prove.
